Good news all my dd's have now come out and i'm left with £2 in my bank so all my re-jigging just about worked. Phew!
Bad news our car is kaput! Gonna cost us £65 to fix, thankfully my mum owes us some money and is gonna pay it for us or we'd be screwed.
Once this week is over i'll be able to get back on track with my daily payments to my loan.

Thanks FF for the no-smoke nod! It really helps with chipping away at the debt...I know I should be doing it for my health etc but the £5 a day to debt is keeping me going. :j

Hope all DFB's are doing well !! Popped on with a milestone as my Capital1 now sits at £2,340 - which is a tenner over HALF WAY !! Woo-hoo. Thrilled with that and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Eyes down for another month of serious debt busting....

I have pretty much cleared the social diary for June, helped along by having 3 wisdom teeth due to come out under general an. on Jun 17th  and a weekend visiting the folks back in Leicester (never have to spend and get treated when there!)

So, if all goes to plan, I can get another £800 off this beast and down to about £1,500 by July 1st. Where was all this cash going before, even taking out £150 a month for smokes?? :o

Keep going everyone- set backs happen. All part of the grand plan to become debt free. "What doesn't knock you down makes you stronger...."

OMG I am soooo rubbish at keeping up with things. Not only did I have to rescue my own bloody thread from the depths of my hotlist the other day, but I forgot all about this one too!

Good going to everyone though, everyone on here is making really good progress.

    Well done!

Oh btw good one about the magpies Andy :)

Hello. Can I join too please? I'm turning 30 this August so no chance of me getting rid of my debt by then, but I think it's do-able to get rid of it by the time I'm 32.

My current dfd is May 2011 but if I have too many months like the one I'm having now (lots of birthdays in one month!) then it will put me back a bit.

Obviously, the aim is to get rid of it before age 32, but I shan't be too hard on myself if I don't

So, the aim is: Get rid of £10,000 debt by August 2011, my 32nd birthday

    Thank you

Hi all. I originally posted that I would like to be debt free by my 35th birthday, which is in 3 months. I was going to throw all I had at my debt but really this goal was always very over ambitious. I've now received news that my income is going to be reduced so I'm going to struggle a bit. I'm still going to pay attention to my debts but I need to be a bit more realistic and just take one day at a time. So, I'm going to opt out of this challenge please. Good luck to you all and keep up the good work.
