Well done f_f. That's fantastic news for you!!!!

Certainly is, but only if I can pay £400 per month towards my loan, and I'm nowhere near that at the moment :rotfl: Hence my sudden interest in Ebay :D

Ebay rocks! I made £40.03 on the seven items I sold today :j

£7.06 of it was from a No7 gift with purchase as well that I got free :D

I still have to add postage and subtract PayPal and Ebay fees (Which I'm sure will make me cry in the end) but I have still made a nice amount of money for less work than I would have thoughts. Hurrah!

More items end over the weekend too, so more money coming next week as well.

Ooh, everyone has been very quiet! How is the debt-busting going for you guys?

I have been selling quite a bit on Ebay, and have made about £90 before fees, postage etc. Still a good amount of money for not a lot of work!

I have had to take money out of my savings account to pay for some tickets to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (My summer entertainment every year) but most of this has been repaid from Ebay, so hopefully I will be making good progress when I post next Monday (Day before payday)

How is everyone else getting on with their debt-free plans?

Hi f_f. I need to redo my figures. I'm having to slow down a little as i was PaD-ding a little too enthusiastically and leaving myself with zilch! Also, a family member has offered to pay for flights to Spain, so i want to be sure to have spending money and money to cover OH's lost wages whilst away.

I followed your tip and now save to an account not attached to my bank and it's going really well. I shall keep this up so i can pay off debts in lump sums as well as save for when i'm on maternity leave.

Not much to think about, hey?!!! :D
One step at a time ;)

All my statements arrived today so have got updated ticker-

Have hit my 20% target which I wanted to reach this month, so that's good :D But I've been bad this month :( I've been overspending :( In fact I've been down right FRIVOLOUS and I haven't done that in months!! So next month I may only be able to pay the minimums in order to get my current account back in the red again! I'll try to make an overpayment though... I should get some bonus this month.. I'm hoping having this little 'blow out' will get it out of my system so I can get my head straight. I will be happy if next month I can get my ticker up to 22%- that's only 1.2% so hopefully I can manage that.

Yay, you found us! Hello hellowave.gif and welcome welcome2.gif

Happy birthday for Monday HSstars.gif Pop in when you can with your figures and debt-free date (And birthday it refers to) and I will add you to the challenge members.

Suggestions for making cash: Check out the 1st post in this thread, lots of useful links there. I use Ebay and BingoPort mainly. I can refer you to the latter if you like...I use that to save Amazon vouchers for Xmas.

Otherwise, good luck and happy debt-busting!

Ok total debt is £3350.48  I would really like to be debt free by the 22nd June 2010 - My 28th birthday. This is all on an interest free credit card now....and ideas on how to make some money will be appreciated

F-F - if you can refer me to the bingo site, I would appreciate it - is it just normal bingo?

Right need to get up (work calls!!) Might look into some private tutoring in Sept, not a good time now, exams have been and gone! Have a few items on ebay too...although nothing big and they are not selling yet!!

    Have a good day :)
