Hi Aimee-lou :hello: I'm sure F_F won't mind me unofficially welcoming you to the clan!0

Thanks,
I'm taking the opportunity of being signed off sick to motivate myself to get rid of this horrible debt!! We have a baby due in October and if we had no debts we would be £400 a month better off even with me being on SMP!! Talk about motivation!!!!!! :j
Right....i'm off to put some stuff on Ebay! Bring on the debt-free!Sept 10: Loan - £7,460, Credit Cards - £1445, Car Loan repayments £2140, Personal Loan £1360- DFD July 2013 (0/34)PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH OUR DEBTS - In it Together, Forever!!***Keeping the Dream Alive - House in 2015***Currently Looking for a Home and Job in Norwich2 adults, 1 child, 1 dog and 3 goldfish!0 -
Please can I join? Am I too late?
Welcome to the club and I hope we all achieve our aims of being debt-free by whatever birthday/event we have chosen.
I am being really lazy at the moment. Now that I have budgeting under control and have paid off my overdraft and credit card I am noticing a definite drop in my PAD activity and am spending more on things I don't need. I have 18 months left to clear £6000, which is about £333 per month and won't reach the target if I'm not careful. I need to Ebay, carboot and survey my way to freedom!!
Now, where did I leave my motivation?.....0 -
Hi FF I know what you mean about struggling to keep motivated. Because my income is currently still uncertain it is hard to know when to pay off more versus save for emergencies. I think if I was regularly earning a fixed amount it would get easier to stick to a budget and pay off more... I've got an interview this pm for a more local job with a fixed monthly pay (as opposed to the hourly paid job I just started) so I really hope I get that one or similarAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

New plan!
Going to put 2 items a day in a box for Ebay and photograph them beforehand. I'm going to upload to Turbolister as and when I have the time and upload the whole lot to Ebay every Sunday.
Do you think that will work?0 -
