Finally got a chance to update!
Got all (well most of) my filing done this morning, so feeling like I could take on the house now. Got the gym tonight but can spend an hour beforehand on something. OH will only be down on Friday as he's standby so have the house to myself all weekend, surely must be able to get the housework done - just don't know where to start. My sis and I want to have a car boot sale and as OH is again standby the following week that would be the ideal time to do it. So it's vital that I get more stuff looked out, that's the plan anyway.
Had enchiladas for dinner last night, smothered in cheese (not very cholesterol friendly) but bl**dy delicious! Made chicken fajita wraps for lunch today (and will be making chicken pasta for tomorrow) but the flipping tortilla literally crumbled when I tried to wrap them. Any wrap experts out there who could tell me what I did wrong?!
Spent £10 at the supermarket last night, was left with 90p in my purse, how's that for scraping the bottom of the barrell! Didn't feel I got too much, chicken is so expensive but I love it so hey ho!
Got told this morning that I was looking great, detox must be doing it's job, plus all the extra water must be helping. Either that or she needs to go to Specsavers
Well lunch almost over, glad no-one was around to see me trying to eat a fajita that looked like it had been trampled by a herd of elephants!0 -
Oh I'm sure you do look great. How nice to get compliments. Cheesy enchiladas sound like just my type of food, anything with tonnes of melted cheese is my weakness. Yum yum.
I hope you're feeling very proud of yourself for your detoxing, I would be.

Hi Swinstee, I used to have same problem with wraps until my brother put me right! How awful to be corrected by a man:mad:! The tips were have them at room temperature, fold in half, put filling in middle of folded half(not to much) and then bring both edges to middle. Hey presto job done! It does work but I think its more to do with less filling and being at room temperature.
Nearly broadband Friday, you'll definately not get any housework done once you up and running at home.;)Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Hi robsmum, thanks for that! Tips from a man eh, never known the likes!
They were in the kitchen so shouldn've been at room temp but maybe cos I opened them last night they started drying up or something. Was gonna heat them up (had to do that for the enchiladas) but why would you when they were supposed to be cold! One day I will make perfect non-crumbly ones!
Gonna start housework tonight just incase tempted to stay on here all day tomorrow, LOL0 -
TThink that was your problem opening them last night! Good idea to do housework tonight. I'm supposed to be doing mine now and been on here an hour!Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Well last update for tonight - hopefully laptop has been sorted, getting broadband tomorrow so should be up and running for the weekend :j
Don't need to go to the gym til 7pm tonight so should be able to get something done in the house - plan is to:
1) Put some washing on
2) Have lite bite to eat before gym
3) Go to gym (only 45 min class so should be home for 8.30pm)
4) Put tape on for Bones at 9pm and have a bath - legs are so hairy I'm starting to resemble a monkey!
5) Try and go to bed for 10.30pm at the latest (with a wee half hour or so to try and sort through toiletries)
Only spent 55p today so far and no biccies apart from the scone I didn't enjoy this morning. It's funny how I manage when the guy who was trying to tempt me isn't in)0 -

He he, that's half the reason I had a bath today, you could have plaited my leg hairs!!
Well done on only spending 55p...I'm wondering if today should be a NSD for me?? I only spent on eBay parcels at the post office, surely I can count that as an NSD?PAD total since 27/07/09 = £60.83 - [strike]Capital One[/strike]:[strike] £192.73[/strike]£27.00 Next catalogue: [strike]£429.00[/strike] £154.00Welcome car HP: [strike]£6090[/strike], £3900, Welcome Loan:[strike]£3370[/strike], £2660HLC #1: [strike]£907.00[/strike]£637.00, HLC #2:[strike] £838.00[/strike]£608.00Sealed Pot Challenge 2009 - Member #649 - Target £500...banked £119.50 already.0 -

YAY - Well done on that :TWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
