Well has been a successful day so far today, got internet up and ready hence the weekend posting, done two washes, went to the gym, haven't snacked AT ALL, but the Easter egg sitting on my bookcase keeps calling my name - I am not going to give in. Decided not to go out tonight with sis, they were going to a club and a) I feel too old for clubs these days and b) I am not drinking so the thought of spending time in a club with no alcohol is too much to bear.
So it's a night relaxing in front of the telly with a nice cold glass of.....milk!
Had dinner so the night is all mines - watching (with one eye) Primeval then it's onto Britain's Got Talent, think I should be on that, as the person who has had hardly any chocolate in the last 12 days! I am normally a chocolholic and I think my Easter egg knows that - ok I'm coming...
No, I can't, wish OH was here right now he'd talk me out of it. Well gonna go and get jammies on (feel like an old fogey) and settle down. x0 -
Well night didn't quite go to plan. Got settled into my jammies and there was a knock at the door, wasn't going to answer but thought I better. It was my sis and she just looked at me like 'what are doing in your jammies, you're meant to be running us to the pub'!
Ah, yes I remember now, I said if I wasn't going out I would run them to the pub, so clothes back on and an hour later after sitting listening to them rambling and having a drink I finally get home. Was going to go to Tesco but realised in my haste to get ready I had no brassiere on
So home and having a little ramble on here before bed. Sis left a Smirnoff Ice and I'm soooo tempted but *whispers, I have already eaten half the Easter egg I said I wasn't touching*
Will have another wee scout around then bed for me, not much planned for tomorrow but will do some more washing and make a start on getting more clothes for boot sale.
Bye for now - hope everyone is having a more exciting weekend than I x0 -
Swinstie I also had an exciting Saturday night involving watching Britain's Got Talent and fell asleep about 9.30, woke up at 12 and went to bed. Hence the reason I've been up raring to go since 6am!!
Good luck with car boot. I keep saying I'll Ebay stuff but have been put off all the shenanigans it involves - however have bought plenty of stuff off it in the past! I love Gok too and he'd definitely have a shock if he saw all my stuff.
Glad to hear you're still detoxing (with a minor easter egg glitch!). I've lost 2lbs again this week despite not exercising so I'm well chuffed.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Morning Peeps,
See you are up early too Sun Addict! I am so tired, was woken up by someone behind me doing up a house, hammering etc., so thought might as well get up and get on the internet (I mean do my housework)
Only got a few things to do today, put a wash on, have breakfast (don't have any milk so it'll be toast and poached egg, I think) and think will go and see my Mum, cos if I sit here all day will either be on here or watching tv. Do a bit of a tidy up also.
Gonna try and tidy, wash up dishes etc., too or else my nice tidy house will be a mess again in no time. Will try and get clothes sorted for work too and get some stuff in for lunches. This is my downfall, I get bored with sarnies and after my pasta fiasco last week, haven't got the bottle to try making it again.
Anyway hope everyone had a good weekend, watching the Marathon which has just kicked off, guy in work is running in it, but doubt will see him in amongst 36K people ha!
P.S. Sun Addict, well done on the weight loss, try not to eat too much incase it goes back on - sickness related weight loss (for me anyway) does that!
P.P.S. Easter egg was scrummy but no more til mid May x0 -

Well done brilliant on my detox, only had toast and a poached egg for breakfast, snacked on some dry shreddies (couldn't be bothered making anything) for lunch and had a baked tattie with a (small) amount of cheese and beans for dinner. I find at the weekend I don't drink enough water, but have been drinking tons of skimmed milk, will try switching to water for the rest of the night.
I am so bored, went to the supermarket and ended up buying non food stuff i.e. clothes that I shouldn't be buying. Trying to justify them as it was mostly summer and work clothes. Dread to think how much I spent, but at least it was all cash.
Watching The Mentalist just now and think it will be all night in front of the tv, so much to catch up on.
Back to work tomorrow, got lunch organised so yeah!0 -

Ah home at last! Didn't get a chance to post til now as had a new girl in today working with me so couldn't get a sneaky turn on the internet .
She was really nice and we spent most of the day chatting, not much work done, but had to get to know each other, will get down to work tomorrow.
Anyway, had shreddies, ham sarnie and some soup today, have been slacking on my water intake and my skin is crying out for some water, feels really dry again.
Spent a fortune yesterday, will put down how much later, as I can't work it out properly, must have spent something that I can't remember.
Anyway 1st day of the Blonde Challenge successful for me Laura!0 -
