    Hi Swinstie

You're not being naughty you're being normal like the rest of us. No one can be that saintly all the time. I have realised I must be addicted to exercise as I haven't exercised since Sunday due to this horrible virus I've managed to pick up and I am getting withdrawal symptoms. My brain wants to exercise but my body is saying NO! However the one good thing about being off sick when it's warm and sunny is that instead of watching daytime TV from the sofa I am listening to radio and reading magazines and book on sun lounger. So I'll go back to work with a tan worthy of any holiday abroad.

Like you I'm not doing great financially this month but this is due to OH being off work more than normal this month this can't be helped. He has plenty of work to come soon though so not all bad news.

Yipee my thread on the DFW has been voted post of the week on the weekly newsletter!!:j This has cheered me up!

Hope you get back on track soon - I love scones too - they're my favourite cakey type thing.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    Morning peeps,

Another (small) disaster - someone opened a pack of the lovely biscuits last night! I was just leaving work and I heard a rustle, of course being nosy I had to look didn't I. I ended up with a chocolate ginger biscuit, it was the most divine thing ever and I am having no more, no really I'm not!

The same person who opened the biscuits brought in a tin of Roses this morning, clearly they are trying to wynd me up. I'm now chomping on almonds to try and satisfy my craving. Did manage the gym last night, after getting my sports bra, really couldn't do without it or I would've had two black eyes this morning :D

Hope you're feeling better Sun Addict, the sun will do you good - where do you get the newsletter from, I've not seen anything about diary of the week but well done on that :j.

Ok better get back to work, was gonna sort my finances out too but forgot my cheque-book, darn it!

Have successfully got to (almost) lunch-time on a bowl of dry shreddies (forgot milk again), some almonds and 2 bottles of water. I. Am. Starving.!

Got plenty to see me through though, with maybe some soup thrown in for good measure!

Have just checked my payslip and wondered why I had more money this month - £175 (0r £142 after tax) more which turns out is for being a first aider :j Haven't even had to (touch wood) practise my bandaging skills yet, and hope I never have to cos I'm a wimp :D

Chased up money I had paid for a night out for someone, they are going to send me a cheque (turns out they might not be able to go and as I paid I would lose the money) - so £11 if they don't go and £28 if they do. Also OH is bringing money he and his friend owe me for AC/DC tickets I ordered for them - tbh I had forgotten about it but that's another £66 :j

Think I will put most of this to my Visa, it will pay a whack off it - huzzah!

Well £2.39 down for lunch - baked potato, cheese & coleslaw, don't know how healthy that is for cholesterol but can't not eat can I. It was very delicious and filling.

Making enchiladas tonight so need some ingredients, mainly chicken and peppers to bulk it up a bit - wonder if all that cheese is bad?! Oh well they are pretty tasty so who cares.

Booked my broadband, should be here by Friday, I've opted for the DIY version at £15, as opposed to £30 - hope I don't muck it up cos I'm not very technical. Hope mum is in on Friday cos it's being sent to her house as needs to be signed for. Better check, ha!

Last post of the night and mainly to remind myself of stuff to do!

    1. Stop eating biscuits - remember on detox (now have a headache cos I ate a biscuit - maybe I now have an allergy to sweet things or something), hope not :D. The guys in here keep trying to tempt me with things, how can I make them stop?!

    2. Bring in cheque book to send credit card overpayments away.

    3. Go to shops for ingredients for dinner and lunches for next two days - write a list so don't buy too much!

That's all I can handle right now, if can do all that will be happy :D

HI Swinstie - sounds like you are still doing really well. Can you not use internet banking rather than a cheque book to pay your CC would be quicker....?

Hope you have a good de-toxing as well as debt busting week! You sound like you were very strong on resisting temptation to me!

    Hi Detox Queen :hello:

Well done on all your progress:T keep up the good work kt_goodjob.gif
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Hi savingholmes, have tried to use internet banking but having problems registering on the Halifax website - it would be so easier, think I'm the only person still using cheques - and sending them with 1st class stamps when 2nd is fine (got DD set up for the minimum then send extra by cheque)! Will try registering again.
