Thanks savingholmes, if only could stop adding to the debt, it could come down faster, LOL
Gym was good and now sitting munching on dry shreddies, lovely! Watching The Mentalist and maybe er at 10pm, really should go to bed early but don't need to fix lunch for tomorrow as getting taken out for an Indian (will try and make a healthy choice), for lunch tomorrow, all paid for as well. Well just gonna look up some tattoo ideas whilst watching tv, if I can do both that is!0 -
Hey there!
Just thought I would pop in and say hello. Just read your entire diary from beginning to end....I loved your dilemma with the easter egg :rotfl:I ate all mine within a couple of days. I think my mind set at the time was if I eat them all quickly then I can be good again sooner  I think I was in denial there
Well done on your detoxing though - you're braver than me. I'm kinda following a RC diet, they are straight forward low fat and portion control. Easier for me.
Have subscribed now so will pop back again soon for a catch up!

Evening peeps,
Thanks for reading Karen, sure I have seen you on savingholmes thread, I've subscribed to so many I've lost count!
Well today not been too successful, started off with some grapes and a yoghurt this morning then went onto a 2 hour lunch break at the Indians, spiced onions & pops, chicken/veg pakora and chicken tikka! Suffice to say I am having chicken tikka again for dinner as I had to ask for a doggie-bag. Also had a couple of Twilight Mints, well it would rude not to!
So plan for tonight (as OH is standby all weekend), is to put dinner on, put some washing in and try and tidy house. BUT, have just noticed neighbour (and friend) is home and haven't seen her in about a week so think will just pop over and say hi. Saves me trying to decide where the heck to start with house. Plenty of time as will be on ownsome all weekend.
Catch up later to score off my list, ha!0 -
Hi Swinstie hope you have a great night. You commented you are still adding to your debt which is hindering paying it off.... Have you worked out where the problem lies so you can tackle it?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi SC,
Just posted on your thread and probably answered your question there! I simply buy too much and stick it on my Visa. I am clearing out for a car boot sale and I dread to think how much I still have to clear, I have SO much clothes, shoes, boots, bags that I could open my own shop. Most of it unworn or worn once, I think I need Gok'ed cos I am always in jeans, so don't know why I buy skirts and dresses etc. Gok can you hear me, I need help!!0 -
I managed to catch Gok's show last night for the first time. He'd have a field day if he went through my wardrobe - I probably wear only 10% of it. Oh well - it's on the list of things to sort for once the exam is over.
Good luck with the declutter - if the weather is as nice as they suggest it is here - the car boot will do really well.

Perhaps like the store cupboard challenge you need to list everything you've got and see if you could get it close to Gok's recommended 24 piece capsule wardrobe? Are you any good at altering clothes - another strategy they tried on Spendaholics? (the tv programme)Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi Swinstie, If you have lots of unworn, or once worn items, you should maybe consider ebay before car booting them? I have started doing this because people at the place I go to car boot are so cheeky sometimes and want decent stuff for next to nowt - the joy of car booting I suppose! My only consolation is that if its been on ebay and I've not sold it then I'm better getting something than nothing for it!0 -
Afternoon peeps,
Well this detox malarky is doing my head in, went to Body Pump this morning after having some shreddies, came home and had toast and beans for lunch, not too bad but have now just eaten an Aero out my Easter egg, ate half put it away for later and two mins later finished it. Really starting to crave stuff again so had some fruit before I demolished the rest of the egg
SH, I am rubbish with a needle and thread, have thought about getting stuff altered but been there, done that and still not worn the clothes! I think I am a lost cause. Going to do some housework cos after my house being all spotless last week it looks like a bomb has gone off. Then it's off to visit my OH, plan is to come home early tomorrow cos he is working, if I hang around his bit I will end up shopping or something equally as drastic! Have a good day everyone, better get my a** in gear and do something worthwhile x0 -
Morning anyone and everyone,
Been up early this morning, which is unusual for me on a Sunday, OH working so ended up coming home early but not managed to achieve very much, had breakfast and been on here so better get a move on.
Plan on finishing housework that I started yesterday, try and go through my toiletries and list everything so I don't buy stuff I don't need, maybe I'll be able to finish the 100 day challenge without buying a thing, I hope.
Need to go to Borders for some vouchers, been putting this off cos I know I'll end up looking in clothes shops, but needs to be done. Then it's the supermarket for some lunch stuff, working tomorrow but at least the roads should be quiet if other people are off.
Catch up later x0
