Think I am feeling worse than before I started, so tired these days but think might be coming down with something, just hope it's not swine flu, that would just be my luck!

Had my Thursday scone today, cos was feeling a bit icky this morning and needed some comfort food but won't have it on Thursday, not as tasty these days.

Quite bored today but think it's just me being tired, and of course OH coming down tonight so can't have an early night (well not to sleep anyway, LOL). He is making dinner whilst I'm at the gym so at least won't have to slave over a hot stove - he says he will do his Naked Chef act, can't wait!

Anyhow, might get an update later, still not went through toiletries, I am so lazy sometimes x

Sorry to hear you are not feeling on top of your game.

Perhaps a duvet day is in order for you?

Hi Swinstie - sorry to hear your bank balance isn't looking good. Would it help to join the NSD challenge (no spend day)? Are you doing the £10 a day challenge (make £10)? I find that helps cushion our account from naughty spends....

I am going to take the £50 shoes I bought BACK!!! that will improve things somewhat. I've also agreed with my sister to just give her a token present for her birthday..... Got everything apart from cake and snacks for DD's birthday.....

A duvet day would be brill Mrs GG, stayed up too late last night watching The Shield, I need to get a life and stop watching so much tv.

SH, trying the NSD and been managing getting by with just little spends, so can't even say it's me spending too much. As for make £10 a day, I have no clue where to start, thought of ebaying (terrifies me) plus loads of work involved. Had to tell sis couldn't work on Friday night, when I stopped catering I threw out my black trews and white shirts (they were actually too tight) so got nothing to wear i.e. you NEVER wear good stuff cos you get food spillages etc.

Just remembered when going through my finances that my friend owes me £300, had totally forgotten about that so next month should see me a bit better.

Cancelled the gym tonight, really lost my motivation (and ate 5 biccies in work today), so feel like a right heffer today. OH making dinner tonight, so I'm gonna get started on toiletry list until he gets here. Knowing him he'll try delaying dinner, but I am starving.

What about a walk round the block with OH before dinner? Bit of exercise helps blow the cobwebs away and a walk doesnt really feel like exercise. Like me walking the dog, both of us get something out of it. Usually me more so than the dog, when I am legging it after said dog, yelling for the mutt to return to me!!

Never work with animals, children or men! Apparently.

Have a nice evening. Kick back and relax. Tomorrow is another day. There is always time for trash TV. Personally I live on it. LOL.

    Hi Mrs GG,

Walking around the block isn't really his kind of exercise, he usually has other things in mind! He made a lovely Chicken Tikka Masala tonight, very thoughtful. I scoffed the lot. Started my toiletry list and I must say that I think I could open up a chemist with the amount of stuff I have. Once finished gonna list it all on here so I can be shamed into not buying anymore. I mean, who really needs 18 big bottles of perfume and 13 miniature ones?! Really, I should be given a kick of the backside!

Wait til you see the rest of the list!

Ok detox nearly over so I am going to give it my best effort to be good til next Monday! Going with a friend to the pics tonight, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (I love chick-flicks) so will defo be having some popcorn, but promise that will be the only thing that passes my lips :D

So it's been shreddies this morning and a bottle of water. Ordered a paninni for lunch but only cos won't have time for dinner before the pics.

Taking a pair of linen trousers and a cardi back tonight, size issues, so loads of stuff to do today. Maybe I will be good and just get a refund!

HI Swinstie - Do you do the free daily scratchcards they are a good place to start? PM me if you need more info.... They should net you £20 or so per month - it all helps! Well done on taking some clothes back too - sometimes its decisions like that that bring our DFD forward the most!

I MUST take the £50 shoes back today that I bought at the weekend but don't even like

Thanks SG, I will PM you about the scratchies, read about them in other posts but don't know where to start.

Phoned up today about a part-time cleaning job (done that for a few months last year) but now having doubts about whether could commit, only 2 hours a night Mon - Fri BUT got the gym Tues & Thurs, OH comes down on a Wed plus got a 3-week holiday in August - could I do it, I wonder!? Supposed to be interviews but might have a way around that, will let you know.

Yeah remember and take the shoes back, it will feel great having the £50 back in your hand or card!
