    Morning anyone and everyone,

Been up early this morning, which is unusual for me on a Sunday, OH working so ended up coming home early but not managed to achieve very much, had breakfast and been on here so better get a move on.

Plan on finishing housework that I started yesterday, try and go through my toiletries and list everything so I don't buy stuff I don't need, maybe I'll be able to finish the 100 day challenge without buying a thing, I hope.

Need to go to Borders for some vouchers, been putting this off cos I know I'll end up looking in clothes shops, but needs to be done. Then it's the supermarket for some lunch stuff, working tomorrow but at least the roads should be quiet if other people are off.

    Catch up later x

    Hey!

How'd you get on at the shops??? Did you manage to avoid any extra spends?? I find it so hard to not just pop and have a look at whats in the shops - bad habit :o

    K x

    Hi Karen,

Well didn't get away from the shops un-scathed, got a cream cardi for work, only £16 and a brown belt on sale for £3, bargain! Couldn't pass it up and it said it was leather so even better, although it did seem very cheap, ha! Haven't been too successful at housework and toiletries though. Spent most of the day catching up on programmes, I'm such a tv freak!

Gonna have a bath soon and then maybe go through toileties, will need to list everything and also hope nothing has went off! Read in a magazine about make-up only lasting so long and can cause skin reactions, I hardly wear make-up so should probably throw everything out but that's a total waste! It's mostly new stuff just had it for a while.

Hope everyone is having a nice night x

If it looks ok, it probably is ok- if the colour has changed, or consistency if it's a cream or whatever, then i guess it means whatever was preserving it is no longer preserving it.. and would probably relegate it to the bin. If you have new stuff you haven't used, and think you will never use, then you could try ebaying it.. maybe as a 'job lot' of mixed stuff:confused: just a thought..
    Take care :D

Finally a chance today to catch up, unfortunately working as don't get the bank holiday, but hope everyone else who does, is having a good day!

Determined to see this detox through, finishes next Monday and I am hoping that I will have at least lost a pound or two, but mainly hoping that I can keep eating healthily and drinking loads of water and that if I eat chocolate, I only eat a couple of squares instead of the whole bar!

Not much else to update, can't wait to get to next month to see totals come down again, will need to be good though and not use CC.

I wasn’t really in debt then and still lived at home, so should’ve had the world at my feet but on top of dealing with ‘stuff’ my Dad died when I was 19. I think this was when I really lost it and spent money like it was going out of fashion, cos hey life is too short!

Much the same here my love, my dad died when I was 18 and I was still living at home with no debt and suddenly... meh. Like you say, life is too short and to hell with it at that time, anything that made you feel better was a blessing and it was 'deal with the consequences later'.

Hope you're ok, my thoughts are with you :)

:pHi, thought I'd just pop in and say hello. Have caught up with your diary and you are doing really well. Thought about you Saturday as I had my regulatory cheese scone at the garden centre! I've managed to stick to the 10 day challenge and it's getting easier to have breckie, even if its just a piece of toast and fruit.
Have updated my diary, seems better to do it weekly at moment unless anything amazing happens. Think I need to look for another job, its all the lady I work fors way.(That doesn't read right but hope you know what I mean). She can change my days, but doesn't want me to, don't pay any holiday or benefits and want me to have my holidays when it suits them etc. But not going to let it get me down, just keep my options open and keep looking. Catch up again soon.

Hi SH, Fell off the radar a bit over the weekend and thought was doing good not spending much but alas bank balance is looking pretty bleak. Sis might give me a shift on Friday night (catering) which I used to do a couple of years back so that'll help, also been thinking of trying for a part-time job but not alot around.

Just gonna pop onto some other threads and catch up x
