Thanks SH and Fuzz!
Don't worry about thinking it was a different day Fuzz, I keeping thinking, or is that wishing it was Friday!
Well arm very sore today, doesn't look bruised but looks a bit swollen - good excuse to avoid the gym on Saturday :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Really hoping my weight comes down a bit, been sitting all day very uncomfy around the 'bra' area, feeling a bit tight, and I AM NOT buying a bigger size, it's big enough! Got some relief after I went to the toilet, removed said bra and put it on over my top. You had a daft vision there, didn't you?! Go on admit it!!
Actually am wearing a jumper with a white vest underneath, so the bra is on top of the vest but under my jumper, but it works - no more soreness :j
Work finishing soon, think will go for some more Christmas shopping cos almost finished. Hope everyone else having a good day xx0 -

Hi All,
Watching the X-Factor results and whilst I like Jamie Afro, I'm glad one of Simon's acts are in the bottom two, will wipe the smug look off his face - bet he wishes he had gotten rid of Jedward! I actually think they are entertaining but Lucie should never have went last week!
Ah, feel better now!
Well had a great weekend, unfortunately it was a bit spendy. Had a day out in Edinburgh yesterday, made my annual purchase of jeans from French Connection - I always buy a pair with my birthday money! Trouble is, don't have it yet, ha! OH is coming down tomorrow with my card and gifts and buying us a Chinese so I don't have to cook on my birthday.
Had another 'conversation' with OH (admittently whilst drunk (again!) about moving in etc., now it is going to happen and as I wanted to get my debt paid off beforehand, I am now able to take my time and go for my (final) DFD of March 2011, as OH it turns out, is paying his mum and dad's mortgage (as well as his own), as they are struggling!
He didn't want to tell me before but it really doesn't bother me too much as I said, it will give me more time to get debt free. I think it's great he is helping them (they are 76 and 81), so good on him. I ahem, also brought up marriage and he said he does want to do it :j.
I'm not a 'bridezilla' type, so hopefully we will do it one day and it'll be a small affair, so all is looking good. My moods have improved too, thankfully after getting the implant out, all looking up! Have a nice night everyone xx0 -
Hi Swinstie, I'm pleased things are going well.
Re. small wedding - I can really recommend Gretna if you're after low-key - it worked great for DH, me and DD (wasn't expensive either).Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

I'll be interested to know how you get on with the patch Swinstie. You might find a bit of skin irritation at first - unless it's really bad persevere though, it does get better. I wear mine on my stomach and swap it from one side one week, the other the next. They reckon you can bath in it but I've only tried that the once so far and that on the night I was due to change it, it was fine and stayed in place OK though. I usually shower and I've never had a problem with it with showering. Good luck with it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi swinstie - glad things are picking up for you - nice that OH is serious about you too and helps his parents - that is sweet. Scary thought to still have a mortgage at that age thoAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi Red, EH & SH!
Ha, Gretna would suit me fine, just couldn't spend loads on a wedding, listen to me you'd think he had proposed!
The patch is a bit itchy (got it on stomach) but I'm perservering. Good idea about having a bath the night before it comes off, I usually have a shower but I like my bath too.
It is scary to have a mortgage at that age, they lived on the grounds of a University as they both worked there so have only had a mortgage for about 15 years! I think he should get them to sign it over to him at some stage, not for his benefit but because his Aunt is in a nursing home and his Uncle is paying A FORTUNE for the priviledge. He stands to lose his house, I'd hate to see that happening to OH's mum & dad. His mum is getting very forgetful, nothing major luckily. It would be an investment for OH's son in the future too.
More updates on the moving in/marriage thing when I am drunk again....0 -
Hi all,
Boo, my birthday is almost over! Had a great weekend and birthday today, OH has just left and now I feel sad! He bought me a Chinese tonight so I didn't have to cook, only ate half so will have the rest for dinner tomorrow. Going out for dinner also next Wed (pay-day) with my friends, thought they had forgotten me but I guess everyone is feeling the pinch just now.
Sisters and niece came up tonight and brought me a cake. I put my foot in it though I got a wee bottle of white wine and said 'I like Rose'! Duh! Why did I say that, really sounds ungrateful, but I have had a wee glass and it's actually quite nice. Text sister to tell her and she's not replied, must be in a huff, ha!
Anyway off to bed now, age is catching up with me x0
