Here's the link to my thread that has a link to my dd's wedding pics. She got married 4th August in the Almeda Gardens which was followed by a champagne reception and pool party/bbq at the Elliot hotel. A wonderful day was had by all!
I'm waiting for some pics of the reception which I'll add to photobucket as soon as I get them.
If you have any questions feel free to ask!0 -
Hi sal-ad-daze
Thanks for the link to the pics. Everything looked gorgeous and I'm glad you all had a good day, cant believe mine was almost a year ago, wedding anniversary in 13 days! How did you enjoy Duquesa? It was you in the grey dress wasnt it - looked lovely and fabulous colour hat.
blakey2b - if you want any help with how to 'play' the Caleta to get the best deal PM me and I'll happily help. I loved my ceremony and would happily do it all again and the only thing I wasnt too happy about was the music for our song choices, we couldnt hear it as it was only played on a little portable thing like our daughter has in her bedroom! So our song choices were somewhat lost and we'd spent ages choosing the right ones for us.
I have some better pictures too and have lost my disc but i might be able to do a link to share my pics that I did our wedding album from as the ones on my link are only snaps. ETA try this link http://www.photobox.co.uk/creation/214770069 and I hope it works!
Our cake was Kelvin and Mandys and OMG was it delicious, and we had Stephanies flowers which lasted until well after we came home (mum stayed longer so had them in her apartment)
I want to go back nooooow - I love Gib and could happily live there.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Hi Kaz,
A year! Doesn't time fly when you're having fun!lol
Duquesa was lovely and Evie (my granddaughter) learned to say 'boat' and told us every time one came into the pier! She also learned the sign for fish and the staff at one of the bars kept her supplied with bread to feed them!
Yes it was me in the grey dress, the hat almost didn't get worn because it was hot but said heat ruined my hair, it flopped and frizzed so on went the hat!! I think dd was the only one who was unaffected by the heat - even in that dress!
Kelvin and Mandy did our cake too and it was divine! We were just sorry we couldn't bring it back for others to try
DD and SiL had the exact day they wanted and that's all that matters, they loved every minute and so did the guests who all said it was the best wedding they'd been to!
I love Gibraltar but hate the ruddy bikes!!!!!!0 -
