OMG!! I WON MY APPEAL!! :-)I was right..I have won my appeal. Just called natwest to ask if my letter was recieved and they said yes, it was them who have closed my 2 classic card accounts because my appeal has been accepted and i now have a Natwest platinum card with them instead. I only sent the appeal letter last friday. They are sending me the paperwork to agree to and my new card is being prepared now. I can't believe it i have never appealed before because i always though the decision is final but i am really pleased i did it now.
Well done!
It does pay to appeal in a LOT of cases, not just financial! Some you will win and some you will lose! A lot of your luck will be in the first 5 secons of them receiving your letter and who picks it up!
You might get some ragged old hag open it who is still hungover from the weekend and blatantly refuse you there and then for no reason or you might get some young eager rookie who wants to impress

If you send in an appeal there is a procedure that always takes place - the lender could leave themselves wide open if you appeal and it is dismissed within the first 5 seconds cos of an old hag!
For instance, you could have a NOC or CIFAS in which case it should be manually assessed, if they decline and you re-appeal then it goes back to underwriting to look at again....
Best advice to test what I say, apply for a SAR from a lender that you won an appeal with and see the file notes - then go to one you lost an appeal with and see their notes. Then all will become clear.
Trust me, they cannot just pick and chose who they accept/decline - they have to follow procedure set in place by varying governing bodies as well as their own complaints procedure which will be monitored by the same authorities.....2010 - year of the troll

Nah it was not us that trashed the joint - the cops started it. I was there seen it with my own eyes and also watched the cops grapple with us telling us to stay put when the game was kicking off. I mean idiots, imagine trying to contain 150,000 fans that were invited to go and sit and watch in the streets for them to say the screens were bust 1 min before KO - then pen us in or arresting us - yea rite, they were spoiling for trouble all day! Typical mancs.2010 - year of the troll
