just print some and take to PO to get verified mate or go into your bank and tell them you need something from them - they can print it and document it as original then send those in.
I use a screen shot of my hsbc log-in with accounts showing and send that. It shows my accounts, numbers and balances/overdrafts.
Remember PO is hard to get mate! If BOI declined you PO deffo will.2010 - year of the troll

I recently appealed my HSBC (I bank with them) credit card decline and successfully had it overturned, £3k limit so can't be that bad. I did, however rely on using my behaviour score with the bank which I knew was already more than high enough to qualify for the best rate and higher limits...... I only asked for half of what i'd been pre-approved (before the dcline of course)....
This is now my best card as it is 0% BT for a whopping 15mths which I must say is rather super...... Also my highest limit.
Not bad for an appeal if I say so myself...
Hi,
I have also been rejected for the HSBC card, which I appealed 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Could you let me know how long your appeal took?
I have a plus account which I have run without any problems for the last 8 months, also have a £200 overdraft and mostly keep a positive balance, and have never had any problems with HSBC.
Any tips?
Thanks0 -
Also, i forgot to mention that i sent my letter to "Canada Square" which i suspect is the wrong address?!0

Hiya
Yea I posted the address earlier in thread...... can't remember off by hand....
If already sent then tips are no good now, haha! But basically mentions lots (go on about it) about how you run account well, never use overdraft, pay bills, never miss anything etc etc - you need them to look into your account holdings with them - tell them this! Say it bluntly 'Forget the CRA - you have accurate factual daily transactions that clearly show how I genuinely conduct myself' - this seems to work cos as you say, if they see your wage going in and see all your DD's then the CRA shows a card to say Amex, but you never pay Amex then they will consider that it may be incorrect data so tend to stick to what they know about you.
Worked for me and gave me the highest limit I had, at the time of £3k2010 - year of the troll

Thanks for your help.
One more question, how did they tell you that you'd got the card? Was it through on line banking?

I rung mate - just give telephone banking a call (UK number) and they will tell you..... tbh they write out after about a week.... had you sent to the address I know then it would prompt a call and they would tell you verbally there and then if they had approved you.
Just hold fire about 10 days from appeal letter sending then ring TB,2010 - year of the troll

Used the template letter for an appeal with Post Office, but appeal turned down.
They (post office in-branch finance people) inist that bank statements show your name and address before verifying them to semd off, as the documents will be rejected by PO Credit Card, if it does not have this data.Capital one £200 - bal nil. Aqua £350 - bal nil
Vanquis limit [STRIKE]£250[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£750[/STRIKE] £1250 - bal £450. Nat West overdraft limit - £300, unused. JD Willaims limit [STRIKE]£400 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE] £600 [/STRIKE] £900 - bal £90.
Very limit £400 - balance £329 (buy now pay 2011!)0 -

I did actually use your template, and was 10 working days today since i posted it off.
I did call them yesterday and they said that they have the letter and it has been passed to a team leader to look at.
I want to call them again, but dont want to rush them in to the wrong decision!!!
Anyway, i only did it as i thought there was no harm in trying so am not holding my breath.0
