    I did actually use your template, and was 10 working days today since i posted it off.
    I did call them yesterday and they said that they have the letter and it has been passed to a team leader to look at.
    I want to call them again, but dont want to rush them in to the wrong decision!!!

    Anyway, i only did it as i thought there was no harm in trying so am not holding my breath.

    If it is being looked into then try ringing again, it took me nearly a month in the end from applying to get it reversed to positive answer so just bear with them mate....

    Ring normal tel banking and just say 'can you tell me if my appeal for the CC has been dealt with yet' and they can check with underwriting and tell you. :D

    It took over a month for me remember from 1st appeal letter to getting it overturned then a week later card came so all in all 5/6 weeks! :eek:

    I actually called them again this evening, and they said it is still being dealt with. I think i will just wait another week or so and see what happens.

    It’s also good practice to send off the following documents, whether or not they ask for them – the more info you send goes to show the lender you have nothing to hide and this helps them progress your application once a decision has been reached;

    With this one, should I blank out account numbers and other sensitive information, or send the photocopies untouched?

    Noooo - send a copy untouched. Anyone could block out data - what proof is it that it is yours? With the account number showing they can compare with the CRA data.... so will help you really. :D

    Hi NID,

    Not too sure where you got your templetes from (unless you are in the legal profession I KNOW you didn't create them) but apart from a few minor details they are pretty spot on!

    I am a solicitor! Have been for 4 years and although these types of letter don't always work, the ones you have published have as good of a chance as any :)

    LOL, the letters here in this thread are my own - 100%. Made by me.

    The other templates, i.e. CCA request etc are actually amended to my own versions from standard templates. We all use the same or similar versions and I know they are correct otherwise i'd not have posted them in the first place!

    I have had a consumer finance solicitor check them over on CAG. There are no minor details by the way - watertight as they come :D
