Feelie, you can talk it over with a mw after you give birth (or before) and at your 6 week check. I think it may have to be good old condoms for a while though. Everything else prevents implantation, including the IUS (minera with hormones) and I would not reccomend that :rotfl: The implant again stops implatation.
Depra is great if you can take it (it made me ill for the whole 3 months), and the pill is again not relaiable if you are forgetful.

Been to the Gp and it was rushed appointmetn cos he was th emergency doctor today and inundated with people
So I didn;t get my forms (for the grant or the MATB1) and he listened to the HB but didn;t put how fast it was. I even dipped my own urine test sticks and did my own blood pressure! :rotfl:
Still, all is well, so I'm happy, I just wish he'd had more time, and that I'd had a chance to speak to him about whether he could tell if Bubba is still breech or not.
Oh, and he confused me - when at first he couldn;t find the HB he said 'it's only the size of a tomato' but I'm 25 weeks so he can;t mean the baby. Do you think he means the baby's heart? And wouldn;t that need to be a cherry tomato?:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

This afternoon the bleeding has started to get heavier & I've had some slight cramps. I've told OH I think that the scan tomorrow will be a waste of £70 & the sonographers time & that we should just accept it's over. Part of me still wants to go but thats the part that still wants to hold on to a glimmer of hope & to be honest I don't think there can be any hope. It just seems really silly & wasteful to go now. I don't know what to do.

Oooh benefits debate. Dont get me started. I come across so many people in my line of work who get huge amounts from benefits (way more than I earn), have their free council house, dont pay council tax, actually go out of their way to try to get their children diagnosed with ADHD etc, get free legal representation courtesy of the public purse which often reaches amounts exceeding £40,000 and have never worked a day in their life. Why dont you work I ask them - answer - why should I!! I earn 28000 (hopefully go up to 30 next week!!) and OH earns 21000. We have very little left at the end of the month as it all goes on rent, bills, paying back professional loans and student loans, debts etc. I live in my overdraft as does OH. We dont go out, never buy clothes and simply make do. We are entitled to 21.00 per week CTC. Well whoopee doo! When beanie is here I will have to also pay £200 per week for a child minder. But you know what, we manage and have even managed to save about £1000 for beanie. I get SMP and nothing more when shes here and because of that we cant afford to survive after 6 weeks so I have to go back to work. The 120.00 pw smp wont even cover the rent so I have no choice. I dont begrudge those in genuine need but I cant bear those who are simply lazy and expect things to be handed to them on a plate. I would only be about £200 worse off a month if I gave up work all together but I wouldnt do that. I intend to work my little botty of for the next four years before opening my own firm and reaping the benefits of all of this.
Finished ranting - dont want anyone to take offence!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -

If it were me, I'd probably go for the scan anyway, not least because I'd just have to know. You will need medical follow-up whatever you decide so do make sure you call your GP and make an appointment to have your blood tested for HCG.
I'm so sorry :A:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

My kids are stressing me out! I know they are ill, I know they are feeling poorly, but being crabbit little !!!!!! is not helping me be sympathetic! :mad: I'm thinking they would feel better in bed with a dvd....
What do I want for my dinner? Kids had toast and jam, but I need something proper.searching_me wrote: »frogot to say my SS grant is sat nicely in the bank was so happy which is why i treat my bump to some ice creamx

*hugs* Nikabella. I would still go for the scan - even if it is worst-case, the hospital are likely to give you one anyway as they need to check everything has gone (I didn't have the blood tests skinty mentions as mine was a "natural complete m/c", apparently). That said, when I had my m/c I did a hell of a lot of Googl'ing (not advised, trust me!) and there were a lot of stories out there of really rather bad bleeding and yet still the baby hung in there and everything turned out fine.. I know it's hard, but stay strong xx0

for me it was like having a wee, then carried on trickling lightly for a couple of hours, i dont know if that was just the front bit of the waters or not but it definately wasnt the big gush i was expecting!0
