Oh, I have a question that isn't really pregnancy related, but is kinda. Been thinking about contraception, and I'm a bit stuck still. Who do I ask about it?
Basically, we've decided it'd be sensible to have a break after this pregnancy, seeing as my body hasn't really found it all that easy!
Can't think of anything suitable though, as I'm hoping to breastfeed. Needs to be something suitable for someone breastfeeding, who isn't good with taking regular pills and who is very overweight.
The bit I'm stuck on, it also can't prevent implantation. So, if by chance fertilization did happen, we wouldn't want anything that would stop pregnancy from that point. It has to be stopped before the egg and sperm join!
Abstainance I think it is!

:rotfl:OH has just woken up, told me he's "left the charger and bread at work" so I "can't have ham sandwiches" tonight. Riiiiight, thanks for that love - no ham either, but that's by the by!
He's pulled the blanket over him and is snoozing again!

Most of my sleep talking is about sandwiches, how strange! I've often accused OH of stealing my sarnies in the nightStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
feelie, I think they discuss contraception with you at your six week check up and expect you to use condoms until then (if you are feeling human enough in those six weeks to contemplate any need for them!)..0

i had the injection (depo) when jackson was a couple of weeks old and i breastfed him. i think i discussed it with the health visitor who told me to make an appointment with the practice nurse who gave it to me.0 -

Evening everyone
firstly ((Hugs)) to those that need them, we are all here to listen if you need us
AM I don't think your going to make it to the 17th, so just give labour a go and if you can't cope take the meds and a section if needed. The medical staff will not think you are being annoying:D
I know there was loads and loads to say to people, but I have pregnancy brain today and you are not allowed to blame me .... Its not my fault:p
On the benefits thing, my OH is on incapacity only, we have been fighting to get him DLA for 3 years now and are getting nowhere. I earn just under £19k a year and all we get is child benefit. Have put in approx figures for when bump shows up and we should get £30 a month CTC along with the child benefit but that is it
I have no problem in people getting benefits, but in my job, there are people who really take the pi$$ and get a flucking fortune !!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry:oThe two best things I have done with my life
