Been gone for soooo long! Back at work full time am busy busy busy. I am just relaxing on sofa with laptop for half an hour. So what's the goss?? What has been happening?? What have I missed? How is everyone??

I had my 20 week scan today - all is well and baby looks fine :-) We got to find out what sex the baby was - not that I could comment on what that was of course :D I will let someone else update the list with the little icon.

Chuffed to bits. Not that we cared either way but this is certainly cheaper!

I heard the heartbeat at 16wk appointment and she has also let me hear it every time since. I have a doppler though (Angel Sounds I think) and used that in the early days pretty much every day just for reassurance and because I found it really soothing. I still listen now because I love to hear her kick and feel it at the same time!

Thanks all for being so honest re the bonding. I must admit I've been in tears with DH loads of times after coming off here saying that everyone was so excited about their bumps so why wasn't I?, What happens if I don't love the baby etc.

It just goes to show sometimes I need to really tell people what's on my mind and find out if I'm normal or not :D
You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same

You shouldn't have Easter Eggs before Easter! MIL had a go cos I ate the one she bought me for the Baby. Oh well, 1 down 4 to go!!

Sorry, if I have them in the house they do not last anywhere near to easter :rotfl: though I do admit now that I just went to get it, and decided on cheddars instead - is that any better? ;)

My 'pains' today were over the top of the bump, and kinda in the centre (around my tummy button!) and down my sides: maybe it's time to start drinking more cranberry juice too

Molly - its nice to know you don't get to hear anything until later too: at least I did get to see the heartbeat at the scan which was just amazing. I can't believe it was 4 weeks ago now though - where did that time go??

Congrats on team blue Shelvis - wondered where you had been?

I'm crap at remembering news - we've had lots of bad news with newbies leaving. no recent births that I can think of. It's a race between SLS and Feelie, oh and AM (Soz hun!)

We've been talking about benefits and things in an adult way for it to be twisted on threads that us pregnant ladies are after all the tax payers money :rotfl:

Sorry - can't remember much more. Check out the list for updates to team blue and pink!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
