Glam, yes you should take a sample along just in case. They usually do test it at consultant appointments.

Kida sinking in about the 'having a girl thing' but what on earth do I do with a girl? They are different to boys so I guess farting competitions are out... And I can't cut her hair with the clippers can I? I'm excited but more nervous about this one as I was with DS1!

Can I ask everyone a question? (bar that one of course) ;) If you got to hear your babys heartbeat at the midwife appointments, which appointment was it? I was really expecting to yesterday, but didn't, and am slightly concerned that my midwife is missing some stuff out that she should be doing  I'm thinking of getting a doppler so I can listen myself (especially if I don't feel the baby start to move within the next couple of weeks).

Apart from at my private scan at 10 weeks, I only heard it "on the NHS" for the first time at my 26 week MW appt.

    HELLLOOOOOOO

Been gone for soooo long! Back at work full time am busy busy busy. I am just relaxing on sofa with laptop for half an hour. So what's the goss?? What has been happening?? What have I missed? How is everyone??

I had my 20 week scan today - all is well and baby looks fine :-) We got to find out what sex the baby was - not that I could comment on what that was of course :D I will let someone else update the list with the little icon.

Chuffed to bits. Not that we cared either way but this is certainly cheaper!

    Congratulations Shelvis :D

I think it was Tara that said "I wanna get jiggy but not enjoy it" :rotfl:

Ps Tara - thanks for sharing your story abut DD, My Aunty went through a similar thing with her DD too, sooo worrying!! her DD was 16 so nothing she could do when she moved in with the scumbag except wait for her to come to her senses which thankfully she did *phew*
