I don't know if it helps but if you make a request for a credit limit increase and show them your income has gone up, then you might be successful.
Its silly how some credit card companies operate. They base their decisions on old financial data. Income can suddenly go up, its perfectly normal, yet they don't take it into account. When I first applied for my Capital One card, my income was very low, and I got a starting limit of 200. I'm sure if I had 9k income when I first applied for Capital One my limit would be much greater. Sometimes its worth closing accounts and then re-opening a few months later, if you can afford to pay the balance in full.0 -

When I rang the automated line and ask for a credit limit increase, the message says you cannot request one as they are all done automatically.0 -
Seems Vanquis advertise "an increase on your 4th statement" if you run the account properly...
...I just called to ask why I didn't get an increase on the 4th statement when their website said I will, chap didn't know anything. Was very polite though
We'll see on Dec. 8th (next statement)Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

They are copying Crappy1:A credit limit increase on your 4th statement*
This never used to be on their website, but note the small print?*Use your card for purchases and/or cash advances throughout your first 3 months. You must also keep your accounts, including other credit card, loan and mortgage accounts in order.2010 - year of the troll

I don't know why Vanquis say to keep your other accounts in order if they don't do a credit check when they increase the limits. They've never ever credit checked me before they've increased my limits, and I've had 3 increases with them.0 -
