  • Does anyone know how often Makro do deals on chicken breast fillets? Trying to work out how many to buy.

    Hi

I've just bought 5kg of chicken breasts from Makro for £19.99, they also had 2.5kg for around £10.50.

  • Err, Has Makro been eradicated from this thread? I was thinking of joining them because I can only afford to rent a room to work in the city (no smart !!! comments please) & it says on Makro's site you just need ID, etc. & proof of registered business (HMRC). Whereas Costco require you supply them utility bills of your business address to join. I already sell a bit online, but I really wanted to join Costco because I found loads of video game offers posted on hot uk deals & very little or none for Makro.

Can anyone tell me if Makro have video games good enough for re-sale??? Any answers most appreciated!

makro tend to be on the expensive side, for all products unless a special deal in makro mail. They don't really have deals on computer games, not that I bother looking at the shelves, would think there is very little scope for reselling. You may be able to go in and take a look around as a guest though, give them a call and ask.

Thanks. I have already called like u said actually, but they declined as I'm not a member. I reckon their game prices (well, maybe just the discounted ones) are probably only slightly better than other supermarkets. Mind you, although it's very rare I have actually found games in Tesco, etc. which can be re-sold for profit.

Makro has been largely eradicated from this thread because it is a money saver's forum and that's the last thing they seem to offer.

As for Costco, you certainly don't need a business utility bill - you can use a bank statement instead. See - http://costco.co.uk/Membership_home/Trade_memship/trade_membership.htm
