Wow, some good bargains to be had, going to Costco this weekend.

Costco ... A box of 5kg tomatoes on the vine, £3.99! Sainsburys want £1.99 for just four toms. I`ve just turned mine into soup, chutney and eaten all the others fresh, very flavoursome!

Does anyone know how often Makro do deals on chicken breast fillets? Trying to work out how many to buy.0

The leaflet above gives you some indication of what you can expect.
If you look at the groceries themselves - the items that are simply bundled together (like the Kellogs Cereals) are around the same price you'd pay in the supermarket (with ot without the discount).
The items that are sold in large quantities are where you find your discount - see the buxton mineral water. Items I find cheaper than elsewhere are things like ground coffee, honey, tea bags etc sold in bulk - though bear in mind that Costco sell good brands cheaper, rather than value stuff. Nappies can be as cheap as the price that Asda do at their baby event - though amazon promotions can make these even cheaper.
The other potential place of value is in the brands that no one else does - like Crown Foods and Kirkwood (Kirkwood mineral water is even cheaper in bulk). They do a range of chicken products that are slightly more expensive than the equivalent from tesco (Kiev's, breasts in batter etc), but by contrast are made of whole real chicken breast rather than constituted stuff. Similarly their fish products.
Also, if you are buying summer fruit to put in puddings/cook with, then their frozen berries are better value than most anything you'd find in the highstreet outside the occasional market stall.
Generally the fruit and veg in the stores I've visited weren't anything to write home about - but your mileage may vary.
The wine is generally on the pricey side (presumably it being difficult to bulk buy this unless you deal with the larger suppliers like Campo Viejo etc, in which cas you don't have much of an advantage over the likes of Tesco) - but you can buy brand name spirit cheaper - good for presents.
Their electrical stuff varies between very good deals and discontinued stuff being sold at a slight discount - and unless you take your smartphone with you it's oing to be fairly difficult to price match exactly, as often these things vary only slightly in model number.0 -
