Does anyone know when CostCo last had a special offer on Michelin tyres? Is there likely to be one coming up soon?

Was just researching the same. Hope someone answers!

I've NEVER found them to be cheaper than most of the local fitting centres.

That's even when they have a 20% discount or "Buy 4 for the price of 3" offer running - without any offer they are usually not even close.

Unlike other places Costco have fixed prices and cannot "negotiate" something lower, whereas many of the others, if not cheaper on their "standard advertised prices" can adjust accordingly and will just beat any Costco quote. Especially if they have the "infamous" "We will not be beaten on price" slogan on their adverts.

You are also rather limited on choice.
Until very recently they only sold MICHELIN.

A few stores have started a trial with BRIDGESTONE tyres, but only on the most popular sizes and only on one type from the range.

My store was doing an even more limited trial of CONTINENTAL tyres - but these were only in just 4 sizes - and didn't even have a 17" fitting at all.

In Costco Chester tonight I got Wii Play with Wii remote for £9.97+vat and a copy of EA Sports Active 2 for £14.97+vat (also available on Xbox). They seemed to have more in stock. Possibly a store specific reduction but may be worth a call.

    Hope this helps someone.

I tried their meatballs yesterday for the first time and they're surprisingly good. Pre-cooked so only take 15 mins to heat through. Dont taste of cheap sausage meat like some do.

I only saw it for Wii and Xbox, I'm afraid. May be worth calling them to double check though.
