I buy the Yorkshire tea bags for work so I know they usually have them. If you can't find something it's worth asking a member of staff, sometimes they have more stacked up on the top shelves and they can get them down for you.

Does Costco just get one bulk of promotional stuff (i.e. the leaflet with the vouchers in) each date and when it's gone, it's gone?

you can ask the supervisor to look on the system at your store and see if any more orders are due in and when they will arrive.

(i did this with the crampons in the winter and managed to get some in a second shipping...but only just as they went quickly)

Has anyone used the Costco makeup brushes? I've heard they are good. Are they around at the moment? I don't get to go there much now because we are not members anymore.. our nearest store is 30 mins away.. so we only go now occasionally with a friend.

The brush set i'm wondering about is the Borghese professional brush set.. has anyone see it lately? If so, what price was it? I've also heard it was available in the States so we may not have had it in the UK..

    Many thanks :)

I saw them a couple weeks ago at Haydock and would also be in interested in hearing if they are any good - and how good the rest of the Borghese stuff is. Sorry I can't remember the price.

Donna - just to say thanks for the offer, I found them via the link so no worries :-)

Does anyone happen to know what the Maxtra water filter cartridges are selling for at the moment.

I'll be going along this week so let me know if you need any pricing.

I love Costco!! Went to Canada last week and used my card there. Got some bargains!!! PJ's for my daughter, some gorgeous salad dressing and hazelnut vanilla coffee beans!

A lot of the stuff on sale here (especially Kirkland) is sold in Canada and its cheaper (it would be even cheaper if the pound was stronger against the Canadian dollar!!!)

Went to Costco in Sheffield yesterday and they were selling stacking boxes (material ones with a mesh window) 3 for just over £3!!! I'm assuming they were reduced !! They look great in my conservatory
I love a bargain and saving money! I don't have any debts and mortgage repaid in 2020

I'd be interested to see what these are going for too please! The best I've found at the mo is 12 for £30. Have just run out after the 12 for £22 on Amazon.

Re queues - a long queue doesn't always take a long time to clear - it's about the number of items the shopper is buying - a shorter queue with 2 or 3 trolleys full may not go as quickly as a long queue of shoppers with only one or two large items......

they're okay for the price but not amazing. They shed a lot and end up quite rough after a few washes.

I was wondering about these too. Reviews online are varying with some like blah11 saying they shed loads, and others saying they only shed a few. They also seem to be slightly different sets each year/release. Tbh, for the price I think it's worth a try. Hopefully going tonight and if they have them will pick up a pack. The No7 blusher/powder brush I'm using atm sheds loads. Also the price of these is the equivalent of 1-2 brushes alone, so worth a try I'm hoping.
