Thanks for that - I picked up the Sure roll ons last night in Glasgow for £2.97 and wouldn't have looked if you hadn't posted.
There was a trolley full of Beechams flu plus capsules - 3 boxes of 16 in each pack and they were reduced to £3.97 but when I got to the till they refused to sell me them as they claimed they were "trade only" and I have an individual card. Bit annoying, there was nothing on the trolley to say they were trade only.0 -

But it is all over the shelf you try and buy them from.... logic says you wouldn't just be able to buy them because they were discounted really...
(I know. I know, you're going to tell me you've never been to the shelf and seen that etc etc)0 -
obviously I'm not supposed to pick things up from trolleys at the end of an aisle without trailing back to where the goods originally were and checking the SEL - and I thought Costco were a big more customer focused than Tesco0

Also meant to say there were piles of ladies Ugg Argyle Boots in Glasgow last night - the box I opened was a toffee colour. There was no price though and they were in a bizarre place - amongst the gents socks and shoes. I asked a passing assistant how much they were (in case anyone on here was interested) and she replied they had no UGG boots in right now so not sure if they were supposed to be there or not.
Worth a look if you are after these - I'm sure if you rang they would probably tell you the price.0 -

No, perhaps not, but surely you were aware of the legislation brought in quite a few years ago where you can't buy more than 2 packets of anything paracetamol/ibuprofen from ANYWHERE?0 -

yes aware of it but not all retailers abide strictly by it. I've purchased more than 2 of the same products in supermarkets and had staff in one case override the system (or at least I presume that was what they did) and in another simply ask me to process two transactions and overheard a customer being told in a well known pharmacy that the limit didn't apply if you asked for the goods at the counter and didn't select them yourself. Seems like another piece of legislation which certainly didn't do what it was intended to.
My comment wasn't about rules or regulation. My point was that I really don't think it would be too difficult for Costco to have added a note on the price tag on the trolley stating "Trade only" - the checkout operator said lots of people had tried to buy them. Avoids confusion and makes life easier for customers and staff.0 -
Thanks very much for the update on the offers that ended today. I went today and bought stewing beef, kitchen roll, Freddo's and Chomps. Can't wait to see what the next lot of offers are!!!0

Costco Bargain: Yesterday at Thurrock I bought some Otis Spunkmeyer Frozen Cookie Dough for £3.99! Normally about £8-9 theres 2.7kg/6lbs and it makes 72 cookies. I made some yesterday and they are delicious! So easy to cook, just throw the pieces in the oven. Shame its not well known in the UK, theres about 12 flavours you can buy in the US. Not sure how long the offer is on for but it's worth checking out in the freezer aisle.
I had a look for these today...they look great! Kids wanted to get them but I didn't have a freezer bag with me so we'll have to do it next time. Thanks for letting us know about them.0 -

Hi,
Does anyone know what is in the current Costco voucher booklet as I am hoping to go tomorrow.
I've been a member since September and have never received the leaflets through the post.
Thanks!
