    Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    I've looked at these in the past and wanted to buy them but was put off by the label that says they are not suitable for freezing. I would be interested to know how they fare after being frozen as I would love to buy some.

    Hiya, they froze fine, apparently all costco cakes have been frozen before, but my mum and her (very cautious) friend both freeze them and defrost (and scoff!) with no problems.

    Costco Bargain: Yesterday at Thurrock I bought some Otis Spunkmeyer Frozen Cookie Dough for £3.99! Normally about £8-9 theres 2.7kg/6lbs and it makes 72 cookies. I made some yesterday and they are delicious! So easy to cook, just throw the pieces in the oven. Shame its not well known in the UK, theres about 12 flavours you can buy in the US. Not sure how long the offer is on for but it's worth checking out in the freezer aisle.

    Finally got some of this today. Priced £3.99. 15 mins in the halogen oven and they were ready to eat (after a little cooling!). They were very yummy.

    I need to run my supplies down a bit before I go again - not enough space for everything!
    The huge containers of couscous are good value (Ainsley Harriott)- I think it was £3.99 for a 1.5 kg jar? (Not at home so can't check). Individual sachets are something like 60p in Asda.
    Also;
    Kirkland toilet roll
    Onken 1 kg Natural Yoghurt (probiotic) - I do eat a lot of yoghurt, and it last for ages. I do the sniff test after the sell by date, but even a week later it's still fine - regularly eat natural yoghurt after BBD without any problems at all.
    Tinned tuna
    When I got my first booklet after joining there were lots of offers on cleaning products - stocked up on bleach, j-cloths, bin bags, washing powder, conditioner etc and not had to buy any since.
    I try and make a note of prices from the supermarket before I go to make sure I'm getting a good deal.
    you can get the sachets for 1p - 10p each on Approved Foods :cool:

    mardatha - I'm sure I've seen wellies in there but I only Know 100% that they've had kids ones, are you after a particular kind? I got some funky ones in the Debenhams sale with codes applied, mandmdirect usually have Hunters very reasonably too

    I was in Liverpool store last week and they had loads of ladies wellies. Black with multi colour spots, pink with spots and black with leopard print. All £12 I think, this was just before the bad weather so not sure if they will have sold out. No childrens wellies though as that's what I was looking for x

    thats great ta. I havent been outside the gate since last sunday cos the snow is too deep and my boots let in like sponges. Cabin fever setting in ...!
    Not sure about getting them online, if the snow's set to come back on wednesday then the post wont get in again and I'll be left waiting.
