    I don't think they will have any more special offer until the New Year; judging by the Christmas crowds they don't need any extra promotions.

    I don't know if this is of any use to anyone, but last night I visited the Haydock Costco store and they were selling off their large beach scene canvasses for £3.75...I remember looking at them in summer and they were much more expensive (can't remember exactly how much)....I picked one up this time, it will look perfect in my hall and at that price its a 'steal'!:)

    (If you are interested they only had about 5 canvasses left when we left at 7.30pm)

    In Leeds Costco today there seemed to be certain products which had a discount to be taken off at till but no offer booklet.

    We brought a tray of their cupcakes and they have been great, they are very pretty but far too big for one person. We used a couple for a birthday then individually froze the rest and get one out when needed like for a neighbours birthday, if you only want a token piece of cake/small one it easily does 3 people :)
    Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

    I've looked at these in the past and wanted to buy them but was put off by the label that says they are not suitable for freezing. I would be interested to know how they fare after being frozen as I would love to buy some.

    had our first bad costco buy, we bought one of their snow boards /sledges months ago, think it was £20+ massive and looks really fast but in reality its so slow, might be the wrong type of snow :(

    thought that might be the case, the snow was thick and had been around for 3 days and even when compact the cheap plastic sledges were much faster, will give it another try at the weekend when hopefully we will go like a rocket :)
  • I need to run my supplies down a bit before I go again - not enough space for everything!
    The huge containers of couscous are good value (Ainsley Harriott)- I think it was £3.99 for a 1.5 kg jar? (Not at home so can't check). Individual sachets are something like 60p in Asda.
    Also;
    Kirkland toilet roll
    Onken 1 kg Natural Yoghurt (probiotic) - I do eat a lot of yoghurt, and it last for ages. I do the sniff test after the sell by date, but even a week later it's still fine - regularly eat natural yoghurt after BBD without any problems at all.
    Tinned tuna
    When I got my first booklet after joining there were lots of offers on cleaning products - stocked up on bleach, j-cloths, bin bags, washing powder, conditioner etc and not had to buy any since.
    I try and make a note of prices from the supermarket before I go to make sure I'm getting a good deal.
