is there an optician there or do you need to have an eye test first?

There is an optician there, at the moment eye tests are free, demand is high so you will have to book an appointment.

As others have said there is no pressure to buy after your test and you will be given your prescription without having to ask!

We received the Costco Connection magazine this week, and the sheet of paper with the address on it said to look out for the offers booklet commencing 13 December.

Thats actually an awesome price for that coffee machine. even at full price with VAT its about £80 cheaper than Amazon. We just bought one for work last week :) Brother really researched before buying as its obviously a large investment. If you're interested I can definitely recommend it. Currys or Comet had it reduced to abt 650 from 7--!

    Pardon ?

Not sure what you mean at all.
I visit both Costco & Makro on a regular basis
Costco is under a mile away
Makro is about 17 miles away

Unless it is because Costco is very expensive most of the time and choice is EXTREMELY limited.
For every item I buy at Costco I do buy 10 or 12 items at Makro where I find so many more bargains & offers.

There is indeed a Kirkland Softener. It's usually quite a bit cheaper than lenor/comfort. It's in a different type of dispender though - really designed to sit on a shelf with a tap dispenser attached. It's very concentrated and you really don't need much at all.

I much prefer it to the lenor spring awakening one which my OH mistakenly picked up last time and we are currently using. It stinks to high heaven (in my opinion anyway!):)

I'll have a dig around and see if I can find an old receipt with fabric conditioner on it and let you know the price.

I was looking at this one last night and found it cheaper at Dixons etc and they will deliver. I know Costco guarentee is better but just thought it strange that they are not cheaper.
