Costco Bargain: Yesterday at Thurrock I bought some Otis Spunkmeyer Frozen Cookie Dough for £3.99! Normally about £8-9 theres 2.7kg/6lbs and it makes 72 cookies. I made some yesterday and they are delicious! So easy to cook, just throw the pieces in the oven. Shame its not well known in the UK, theres about 12 flavours you can buy in the US. Not sure how long the offer is on for but it's worth checking out in the freezer aisle.
I'm sorry, but who thought that would be a good marketing brand name!!0 -

Hi - Are these similar to the Kindle?
The Sony ebook/ereader is similar to the Kindle. I have the Sony pocket ereader and my husband has a Kindle. I love the Sony because I can read library books on it. My local library has an ebook section on the website and you can 'rent' (for free) 5 books for 14 or 21 days before it gets removed from the ereader. The Kindle doesn't have this feature. You have to buy books from the Amazon website. The Kindle we have has wifi & 3G, so we can buy books and then read them on the Kindle within a minute or so. And you can also go online-although it is quite slow to load and isn't easy to navigate sometimes. I love both types of ereader, but you'll need to decide which type would work best for you. If you read a lot & you can get ebooks for free from your library, the Sony may be the better option.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

When you borrow from the library do you have to download to your computer and then to the Sony? Does it take a long time and how is it removed from the ereader?0 -

Yes, with all books for the Sony, you need to download the book to your computer then transfer it to the reader.
It doesn't take long to do though. After the rental time is up, you can no longer read the book on the Sony. With purchased books, it never expires.
Off on holiday tomorrow, so apologies if I can't reply to any posts for a while. Off to download some travel guides to my Sony!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
