OS Daily Thurs 2nd April 09

I froze some natural yoghurts in ice cube tray earlier. Perfect size for curries. That's been the high light of today. Oh, and hour long eastenders on now on bbc3, I am SO THERE! CUp of tea, HM carrot cake and hot water bottle for me.

Had a lovely lazy lunch (with 2 glasses of wine!!), a walk around the outlet in the sun and a browse in most of the shops....including the small Kath Kidston one, wasn't really in a mood to spend money although was sorely tempted in the Le Creuset outlet.....

DD4 has been offered a job in Whitstable, but is doing her sums and feels that while she would like to do it she would have to use some of her savings to keep her going so that would be a no gain situation for her....she and DGS2 are off to Cork for the weekend so they will discuss it with Siblings 1 and 2, who will hopefully be able to set her straight...

OH seems very tired to-night, he cut lawns which exhausts him...even with his ride on mower, hopefully he will go to bed early and sleep well, think that he has had problems sleeping for a couple of nights.

Beth...I think that you have taken the right approach with DD1, so sorry that she is finding it difficult to get a permanent job, can't be easy with a teenager to look after, but she is very lucky in the wonderful parents she has...not sure that any of my family would find it as easy to put all their financial paperwork on the table for me to go through, so take a bow as a mother and grandmother!

Sybil...can you leave LB without anything on for a while each time you change him, before you put cream on....always seems to help, my late MIL firmly believed that cold water, allowed to dry naturally on skin helped more than anything....tried it and seemed to make some difference.

Evening all,

so tired again - just trying to keep up with the goings on as OS Mansions before the forums go off for the weekend.

I have read & taken on board events for everyone & just want to send huge hugs to you all. So many having tough times or worries about relatives/friends. You all support them & then we all support each other

Not much OS'ing going here at the moment - bit more of a case of work, work, work. However, bit of spring cleaning will be called for on Saturday I think.
