Hi
just wanted to say that thanks to your advice I have now signed up to 1899 and 18866, only just switched to telecom plus a week ago but I am not leaving a referral.
I have been putting in the numbers in front of my telephone numbers in my cordless phone memory so will not have to much of a hassle dialling 1899 and 18866 hopefully. Although it took me ages to do, especially as first I put in 1899 in front of all my numbers, then changed this to 18866 then finally clicked on to putting 18866 in front of all numbers beginning 01 and 02, and 1899 in front of all moblile numbers. I am really looking forward to the savings. I think this is a great site, but it is surprising how when I tell my friends/family how suspicious people are of great deals! But I cannot talk I have been thinking about using 1899 and 18866 for a couple of weeks now and it has taken me till now to actually sign up and go for it!I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0 -

If you have any advice it would be appreciated, commonsense would dictate that not many telephone services would like to be overridden? that this would perhaps be in many t&c's?
any comments appreciated thanksI always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0 -
I believe its in the T&C's of TalkTalk but in practise they don't actually stop you using 18866
Same with Telewest, I understand.0 -
thanks for looking up the t & c's for me, and the advice, its good to have as much information as possible when making savings I think!I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0

Hi all just thought i would share this with you.
Yesterday I recieved an unsolicited phone call from a nice lady who informed me that her company were "going to save me lots of money on my phone bills"
Great said I, just a few questions she said first do you have a BT line? yes I said, good how do you pay the bill monthly or quarterly? monthly I said,
how much is your monthly bill? well it varies a bit but about £14:00,
Silence, long pause, oh well I dont think we can help you sir goodbye click.
LOL.:D
For your information we are on BT together and as we both work no calls are made during the day and the evening calls are 5.5p for an hour.
Cheers, M.0 -

Could do better by using 18866 for those night time calls at 1p for as long as you can talk
Actually I had a call today from Homecall so I told them I was with TalkTalk and didn't need their service. I was asked if I had many friends using TalkTalk so I told her a few and with that she said she couldn't help me reduce my calls in that case.
As my bill for TalkTalk last month was 5p, I didn't think she could either0 -
I have just received my invoive for 1 month from 18866 it is £7.40 in total ( for about 50 calls). they have charged me a 1p connection fee plus 1p per minute for each call. I thought the calls were free. has anyone else had this problem?0
