It certainly will be worth changing your calls over to TalkTalk and 18866/1899 and won't make any difference to who supplies your broadband.0

Under no circumstances is the customer allowed to use an alternative Telecom supplier to override or bypass IT services either through the installation of equipment or through the BT local exchange, any such changes or bypassing the IT network or services may result in suspension/termination of services without notice to the customer or extra charges maybe added, without the written approval of IT.0 -

I have now spoken to talktalk and changed from alpha plus and will switch to 18866 today.Do I have to inform BT about this?

TalkTalk will inform BT that they are taking over your calls and BT will send you a letter telling you from what date, should just take a couple of weeks.0 -
For some reason 18866 is not responding at all for last 30 mins.Will wait.

Some signatures attached themselves to the wrong user during the switch, some people even have Martin's sig!) so you need to delete it. Go to UserCP along the top which is your control panel, edit signature then delete and save. HTH0 -
