Beachbeth thats great news about your IB!! :T xx

I've not been around here much in the last few weeks, had my internet cut off for a week and now I've moved back in with my parents for a while as my room in a new houseshare isn't vacant yet. I noticed Tiffy even did a roll call for me while I was away! :j
I'm still getting better (I think/hope), think everything I've done to help get over this has helped. I now also have a part-time waitressing job at weekends which I started last week, and I really enjoyed it. I've also got involved in a few things at uni and volunteering so that's helping me to meet new people. I'm starting the 101 in 1001 challenge, there's a thread in Disussion Time, so hopefully that will help me to achieve things I want to.

Sorry to hear about your trouble with Ian and the kids Shaz, hope everything works out ok for you xx

hi all, talked to ian again last night, and he said noway is he giving up rugby any sunday afternoon (so much for compromise) feel so low, that i am scared to make a decision, that i may later regret, but my gut feeling at the mo, is i'm prob best off without him, but i'll miss the cuddles, and he does make me smile at times, time will tell i suppose. more bad news from joshua's school, he has been excluded again. kids new social worker was here when school rang, and was shocked how little support is in place, told him i had no respite, or help etc, and he said he would look into it. he also said i should have a social worker of my own, fighting for my needs to be met also, because whilst i am not getting the support i need, my health is suffering further, and that also must have an impact on the kids.

hugs all

Aw, that is a shame

Could he not have compromised and spent one Sunday a month with you? If not then it is probably best to go with your gut feeling.

I hope with the social worker seeing you this way, you might get some extra help.

The plumber came back and fixed the boiler. He needs to replace a couple of valves which means a system drain which should be done on Saturday (unless he has a major emergency). He seems nice and knows what he is doing.

I am still feeling distant from my OH. He has got away with so much for so long. He has been messy and chaotic for years which has infuriated me. He let our son be the same.

I feel I am becoming his mother, rather than an equal.

My experience of men is they want a mother (no sex and someone to do the crappy jobs around the house), a tart (no strings sex) and a women they can feel superior to, which is probably why they like younger women than themselves.

It appalls me how little help and support you get, Shaz. I think you are amazing the way you deal with everything and if Ian can't see that then more fool him. I hope they can sort out some help for you.

Not all men are like that, CCStar, but there are a lot like that out there who are very selfish in this way. Men get away with being selfish in a way that women don't for some reason. Im lucky because my OH is lovely and very supportive.

Hugs for you both and anyone else that needs one. ((()))

Hello lovelies  What Beth said:) Hi Katie hun, Gilly Badger is well thanks, his lovely mum is coming to stay with us for the weekend which will be nice as we haven't seen her since christmas. But it meant after a long day at work yesterday and then a long commute home, we had to do a mad dash around the house last night cleaning and tidying! And now we're both knackered! lol so I think I need a couple of extra smarties from the cupboard;) My tummy's been a bit iffy this week, don't know why, but hopefully that'll right itself soon

If I don't get the chance to pop back, have a lovely weekend everyone

Much love to all,

Hi everyone,

Been reading but not posting for a few days as I am starting to get an internet addiction!

Hope everyone is ok and that the partners in our lives start treating us right or are replaced with ones that do!

Had meeting with occ health today who have expressed their concerns that I wasn't makign an effort to 'manage my condition' as I have come off the pills even though I have been better than when I was on the pills! I don't know why they assume either you are normal or not normal! I am more realistic about how long it takes to be 'better' than them! *rolls eyes*

I am seriously miserable today.

He left something on in the kitchen again today. On it's own, it is minor and irritating, but wastes money, but

When it has happened over and over again plus other things he does that upset me, like not make an effort when we are alone or looking after his stuff, thinking it is OK to be like a man of 90 when we are alone

Sorry you are feeling miserable.

My advice would be not to focus on the annoyance - you will be more susceptible to being annoyed by things when you are down that you wouldn't bat an eyelid at when you were feeling well.
