Hi guys!
Safe journeys all.

Hi all,
Hope you having a good weekend so far. I'm just sitting down waiting for the Cup Final to start, being a Chelsea fan there can only be one result....fingers crossed..well on one hand anyway
I've got to have an op on my throat, will be in 4 weeks...one tonsil out and to have a look around:eek:. I'm pretty cool about it at the moment. Life keeps dealing me blows and I just gotta deal with it and worry when I have to. I can't let myself slip in to the deepest darkness again, I need my strength. I'm glad my doc finally got the right anti d's for me, otherwise I know I wouldn't be coping right now.
Can't type much more as taking too long left handed and the clingy black furball on lap in front of laptop :rotfl:.
Hugs to Tiff, beth, tulip, Ruby, Miro, EM, Emsy, Part Mouse, Unlucky T, Pipkin, Lady M, CCstar, Alison, Saz, Shaz, Elfen, Jennie and all those who need them.

Hi guys!
Hope you're all as well as you can be tonight.
Just thought I'd make a quick pitstop to let you know that BBC4 are running 2 or 3 programmes on mental health back to back tonight, starting at 7.30p.m.
Can't vouch for them as I haven't seen them but they're probably worth a look. You never know, we might actually learn something.MR & MRS SAZZY BADGIE!
Welcome back sweetheart!
Be kind to yourself guys.
Much Love,

Not sure what to do - still taking the tablets and having more good'ish days than bad, but on leaving work tonight was presented with a letter which my employer wants to have an 'official performance review' - lists odd little things that I've done wrong, mostly from lack of guidance/training (which has been requested many many times). basically I was taken on to do 6 hours a day as a PA (the secretarial admin type PA, not a carer type). Since then a third member of staff has been taken on and my work load increased accordingly, but not my hours, so I'm trying to squeeze a quart into a pint pot - something had to give...... my Dr wanted to sign me off sick months ago, but as we are such a small company, and I assist two busy managers, I declined his offer of 2 weeks sick.
OH wants me to see Dr in the morning and get signed off properly, let the boss see how he functions without me.Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
Hi guys!
Morning all.
How's us on this lovely Tunasday morning?I know, I know - I should keep my personal opinions to myself!
Sending a warm Tiffyto sock-knitter (socks) and a sincere ''nice-to-see-you-again'' to tdmmdi!
Not feeling very fluffy yet this morning actually, although there's no particular single cause. I've had a bad case of the ''I should'', ''I must', ''I have to''s over the weekend. I spent so long deliberating on the matter that the days flew by and nothing actually got done. It just makes you feel so drained, almost as though you've got jet-lag. God, I really hate that feeling!
Okay, that's enough self-pity from me.After all, there's always something on the horizon.
*...if only I was a [STRIKE]lot[/STRIKE] bit taller!...*
For example, even though I wasn't able to reply to my pm-s or post and torment miro over the weekend as planned, all is not lost - there's always plenty of time for some miro mayhem and such. Yes, the world is slowly righting itself : our lovely missus sazzy is back and trapped behind her desk once more, people have gone back into hiding now that I've started posting again and I'm sure I'm overdue for a catnap.
And my silly cpn is coming to see me at 8.30a.m.
His aim will be to invoke some serenity.
Good luck with that one, mate - I've been trying to do that for [STRIKE]45[/STRIKE] erm, 21 years!
I'll try and return later with all the post battle news.
Big hugs to anyone with meetings, appointments, work, treatments, counselling, assessments and to raksha and anyone else who's struggling right now.You don't have to suffer in silence: we're a friendly bunch here and sometimes just venting can help a little. I found a really apt quote that I think echoes the experiences many of us have found by posting here.....
' Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, ''What! You too? I thought I was the only one."' - C.S. Lewis
How very true.
I'm orf then. Be kind to yourself guys.
Much Love,
