I forgot to say I got a letter today telling me I had been awarded DLA, low rate mobility and middle rate care. It was granted on the evidence they received and awarded first time.
I am so relieved, it will really help. :j

been to DIAL today and they helped me fill in sons forms, it took over two hours to complete

Glad someone could help you with this. I quite often get brain fog when trying to do things like this! Then you worry in case you haven't filled it in right. At least if you've had help then you know its all filled in correctly and you haven't missed anything.

    Morning everyone!

Hope you are ok, Tiff and Miro.

I hate this time of year - horrible weather and dark nights and no sign of spring yet. I am trying to keep positive though. I need to give my dogs a bath because they are starting to pong. I love cuddling them when they are all fresh and clean!:p Trouble is its all wet outside and it just means they get muddy all the time. Roll on the summer I say!

    Morning Beachbeth and everyone :hello:.
I am awake early for a change and straight onto laptop in bed for little MSE addiction sesh.
It's a rainy cold looking day.
Glad my meds are working better than anything else I've had in last 2 years.
Doc has given me some hormone tabs to help with my PMT too. It's often been extreme and an intensifier of the other mental problems.
If they work I'll kick myself for deciding not to take them when I was given some years ago!
    Stinky puglets Beachbeth, sweet!
Here's a nice cup of Earl Grey for you all :coffee:

I have terrible pmt, Willa. Its an awful thing to suffer with. The only thing that makes it bearable is the fact that Im on anti-d's - they stop me wanting to kill people at the time of the month.:p I wish I had periods like other women seem to. Most women I know barely know they're having one! Trouble is one of my daughters suffers exactly the same. Its the one thing I didn't want to pass on either of my girls.:o

Morning everyone. I am still feeling no better. (physically I feel like crap too - the fact that I'm having problems with the vessels in my nose isn't helping)

I know some anti-d's can help with it but these days it just seems to negate any good effects from them for me. Extra mental and tortured for up to two weeks out of every month.
I have always had horribly painful periods too, like labour type ones requiring prescription meds.
Yes it's weird how some women have no bother with them at all - they must be some of the ones who say 'oh it's nothing, just get on with it!'.
