I really need a kick up the backside:
The last two weeks have been hell. Seeing my friend in the state he's in (although he claims he's fine - I don't think he really is) hasn't helped me at all.

I have lost the motivation to do everything, apart from sleep.

    Morning everyone.

    Pipkin Thank you xx

Not had the best weekend, had cluster partial seizures all saturday and a big one yetrday. I always get really depressed before and after one and being ignored when I was trying my best just upset me more than usual. Suppose I should just get used to it but people can be so cruel.

sh1305 sorry things aren't good, hope it improves soon for you.

    Hey hunny.

    How are you doing?

Glad you came back to post. Don't feel that you can't, because you have as much right as anyone to be here :)

Sometimes I don't think people realise they are being cruel, it's just that they don't understand the ways your illness affects you. I know it's easy to say don't take things to heart, but I think you need to lok where support is, and if it isn't in one place then see if it's in the other.

I think you will get support here, and as I've said, my inbox is always open to you :)

I know I say things in a different way to the 'lovey dovey there there' way, at times, but my heart is in the right place and I try to help by offering a different perspective on something.

I've had a bad throat all day :(

Popped on here for a quick few minutes as my girls have kick-boxing later.

    Take it easy xxx

Pipkin - I hate having a sore throat more than anything :-/ But I gargle with TCP - it's horrible tasting stuff I know, but it does the trick for me. Just don't do what my o/h did when I suggested it to him - don't gargle it neat! lol :D

    Hope you feel better soon.

    Thank you Saz :)

I've been sucking on Strepsils but they haven't really had an affect.

My sinuses were blocked this morning so I inhaled some crystal menthol and that shifted it - caused my eyes to stream too though :D

What's wrong with your friend, sh?

Sometimes I think sleep is a body defence for when things aren't working out. To protect yourself, sleep becomes a more attractive option.

How have you got on today? Have you made an appointment with your GP yet?

Pipkin, as always thank you. I think what upsets me most is when people hold grudges, as you know we don't always see eye to eye but then it's over and we move on. It seem's that I have said something once and it will be held against me forever,

I actually prefer the way you say things, I am better with people who are honest rather than say what they think you want then moan behind your back.

I am just going to stick with here for my moans if no one minds.
Hope your throat feeld better soon, my dh swears by that spray that numbs it. I laughed when I read you had inhaled crystal menthol, I read it totally wrong:o

I forgot to say I got a letter today telling me I had been awarded DLA, low rate mobility and middle rate care. It was granted on the evidence they received and awarded first time.
I am so relieved, it will really help. :j

    That's good to hear.

Perhaps it will reduce some of the stress.

Logging out now, but will pop back on later.

    Take care :)
