I am debating whether I should tell them what's really wrong. How do I do this please? When I originally told my friend, (he actually read it somewhere and then comfronted me about it) he seemed to not understand at all.

So many people don't understand depression and think you are just being self indulgent. You get that "pull yourself together" and "what have you got to be depressed about?" attitude. Perhaps you could say you are seeing your doctor because of stress and you don't want to talk about it?

thought me and ian could stay friends, well we could have on his terms and conditions, eg nights out when it suits him, let him sleep over, told him no chance, and he told me he wont be bothering me again
feel like i been punched in stomach all over again
    it hurts

Would anyone mind if I joined in, I have said some stupid things on other threads and had some awful things said about me for no reason. I promise to behave in here.

I am feeling a bit lost at the moment and don't know where I fit in, either a lot of people have me on ignore or my posts are invisible:huh:

    Hope it's ok.

((((((((((hug))))))))) Well done for not excepting his terms and conditions, you deserve better, keep telling yourself that and stay strong.I know your hurting but what are you really loosing?from what you have said he gave you none of the support that comes with a relationship and a relationship on his terms is worth less than nothing.Keep posting on here when you are down and i hope you get some help with the boys soon.

hi gemini, how are you hun?
from next week i am getting one night a week respite from the boys, both will be sleeping over at daniel's school. i was really looking forward to it, as me and ian were going to start going out more, turns out not to be the case, but will be nice to have some time to myself, once i get used to being by myself if you know what i mean.
