Good luck finding good lunches though.
Hi no not when he is actually driving, but he is a postie on a rural location so it is a case of pull over to the rest area and eat so nothing that is sloppy etc as he is terrible at slopping things everywhere and has no washing facilities so the more intact the lunch can be the better.
Thank you everyone for all the suggestions I have made myself hungry reading through them.1 Sealed Pot Challenge # 1480

Ahh, good.. Our postie eats in one of our pull ins sometimes and watches the animals, they think its great.
When we are picnicking in the car i take a kitchen towel and a bottle of water, ot, if i am feeling extravagant, baby wipes. It might help to chuck those in the bag with his pack up?0 -

I think I might have to I swear he makes more mess than the kids do,
He actually has a little group of blackbirds that follow the van every day from a certain point in the run till he stops and they sit outside his window waiting for crumbs1 Sealed Pot Challenge # 1480

peanut butter & tomato

chicken roll & chutney (blag some free home-made, lol)
humous & cucumber0 -
A thick bean pate would be good in sticking the bread together. My youngest used to have trouble keeping sandwiches from slopping about the place when starting out with them so I was always looking for something like this!
Also peanut butter - either sweet with jam or fruit or chocolate spread (Asda does a yummy dark choc one), or more savoury with relish and crunchy lettuce or, similarly, plum chutney (or jam mixed with a little soy sauce) and beansprouts. Avocado is a good combo with the peanut butter and for extra bread adhesive without clagging up your mouth
I found bought hummus a bit too sloppy but if you make your own and keep it a bt thicker it works a lot better.
We also like a homemade pastry pie sometimes in packed lunches.Love and compassion to all x0 -

No, forget the grated cheese, just put some real manly slabs of cheese, with a sping onion, between two slices of bread. Add pepper and some charm, and way you go.I hvae nt snept th lst fw mntes writg ths post fr yu t cme alng hre nd agre wth m!
