I normally have ham salad, tuna and sweetcorn, or chicken sandwiches...but i am looking for a vegetarian sandwich filling.
Has anyone got any ideas (apart from hummus)?0 -
are egg and fish acceptable? If so that gives you the option of egg mayo, egg salad, tuna mayo etc.
If not, cheese savoury can be nice. hummous is a great way of adding flavour. Nice in a pitta with salad and felafel. There are some good recipes floating around the web for a pate made out of beans.
cheese and beetroot is nice.
Veggie burgers and bean burgers can work well if you want something a bit more substantial.
Peanut butter is another option.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Do you like cheese?
Soft cheese and salad? Or I like soft cheese and jam in a nice roll.
Cottage cheese - plain or add something like pineapple or chives yourself/buy flavoured.
Egg mayo.
You could browse the sandwiches in the supermarket for ideas. I remember getting a Waitrose 'Christmas' sandwich a few years ago that I copy - brie, cranberry sauce and rocket.0 -

A BLT (with Quorn Rashers) is very tasty. I also like left over roast veggies with mozzarella.0

Roast peppers, cucumber, plough mans (cheese and pickle), avocado, carrot and raisin, mixed salad (or salad and any kind of cheese), tomatoe, Halloumi (or halloumi and salad), sliced nut roast, banana, falafel, grilled mushroom (also nice if sprinkled with garlis), guacamole.

You can get vege 'meats' from quorn to put in sandwiches. They do chicken, turkey, ham, peppered beef and bacon. As a vegetarian my fave sandwich filling is homous with cold grilled peppers and some baby spinach.First Time Buyers Waiting To Move Into Our First Place ! Exciting !0
