smoked salmon trimmings and cream cheese.

grated cheese with a bit of wholegrain mustard mixed in it - I find grating the cheese makes it seem posher lol

If you want a simple and spicy filling then chutney sandwiches are my fave.
Green chillies, handful of coriander, juice of half a lemon, dessicated coconut.
Whisk in a blender until you get smooth paste. Should not be grainy, if it is
blend a little longer. Have on it's own, but I prefer it in a cheese sandwich.

Half a dozen green chillies, a bunch of coriander, tin of dessicated coconut
and 2 medium sized lemons will make enough to last 1 month. You can also
    freeze it the chutney.

  • Hi Folks

Hoping you can give me some suggestions. DH's band are having a fundraiser at the weekend and somehow I have ended up having to make 4 platters of sandwiches!! Not really too sure how that happened!!

I'm trying to steer towards things that will stretch such as egg and onion, tuna and pepper.....and there ends my ideas! Lol! Has anyone any suggestions what I could put in the sandwich mountain I need to make? Preferably cheap and cheerful where possible!!

    Thanks
