Morning all :j

Haven't been on here all weekend as we've had friends down, we had a fantastic, if not at all OS weekend (we went out fo dinner (very expensive :eek: ) but the kids had HM pizza and a babysitter :rotfl: )

Back to work today :rolleyes: never mind. Breakfast is all done - cereal for DD, scrambled eggs (just the whites :eek: ) for DH and a cup of coffee for me! Lunch is packed lunches which are all made, and dinner will be HM lasagne which I made last night - so I've just got to bung it in the oven later

TD and WM are both on, and I'm just about to jump in the bath. DD's dressed - so I've just got to do her hair.

Morning all

well im back from Miami and the proud 'aunty' to a bouncing, blonde haired 9.5lb ( ouch and yes it was her first) baby boy - jake ryan.

mom and baby both well and leaving hospital tomorrow.

flight home from miami was not good - must have eaten smething or picked up a bug as i spent most of it in the toilet with my head in the sink - not nice.

anyway much better now - second load of washing in, whites fluttering on the line though it looks like it might start to rain soon.

spending most of this morning getting hair cut and colour change - really feel dowdy and in need of a perk up.
but my to do list today is:
post ebay packages
transfer funds from paypal
make bread, fruit cake, eves pudding, everyday biscuits

b: tea and toast
l: cheese salad roll
d: cauli, leek, swede and tato bubble and squeak with bacon.
( pudding- eves pudding with cream if i get it made, blancmange if not)

also need to hunt out the instruction manual for my dryer which i sold on ebay and for my dough bowl and hook for my kenwood - kneading three loaves a weeks worth of dough is not helping my rsi.

anyway i hope youre getting some sunshine and wish you all a great day

Morning all,

I have been up since 3.30am. DS is still ill and has a temprature. DD is also still ill.

I am keeping them both at home. I have had to make 5 phone calls this morning to let people know.

Not much planned for today i need to do some washing and mop the kitchen floor.

Morning all

House is blissfully quiet and the sun is trying to shine.

Beds aired and remade.
Washing up done, dried and put away,
Hoovering done,
Washing going (out on the line today me thinks)
SC full of bones and veg for stock.

Did all my mending jobs last night whilst watching tv - nice to have them all cleared, then DD1 came home from her Am.Dram. group and asked for all her costumes for this weekend to be taken in and she needs a pirate bandanna and a pair of trousers knocking up and and and......good job the sewing machine is still out!

No little one's until the school run today and they're only here for 2 hours so it's nice and easy, must get all my books up to date though....far to much paperwork.

Brekkie - cereal and toast
Lunch - Wraps with ham and cucumber
Tea - Sweet potato, parsnip and carrot mash made into tuna fishcakes for me and DD's and cornbeef cakes for DH, with pasta and veg.

Our veggi patch has been put on hold, the landlord is planning an extension on the back of the house and I can invisage 10 ton of builders traipsing over my patch, will start some bits off in pots and see how we get on, must get into the shed at some stage this week and see what I've got in the way of pots and compost and get cracking.

OH got day off today but not too well:sad: got pains in his right side but won't go to doctor(frightened he'll be put on the sick) so taking lots of pain killers instead!

off to take DS1's laptop in for repair(hope its not too expensive:rolleyes: ) told him he's got to pay for some of it as it was him that damaged it!

DS2's got after school detention for not going to a previous detention for not handing in homework! so he's not too happy but hopefully he's learned his lesson!:rolleyes:

Am very tired today - not slept well at all for last week:mad: can't get to sleep and when i do I keep waking up and am very restless in bed:mad:

Anyway must make the best of my day off !

D - HM chicken and mushroom pie, mash and veg

Thanks Queenie! we really enjoyed the show! and hopefully some of the money will go towards our local hospice!

Morning all
well just quick post need to go get showered asin uni this morning. Had a Terrible Sunday, spent all day arguing with other have, relationship very rocky at the moment. Doesnt help that he spent friday night out with some other woman that up unitl he came home I'd never even heard of. Tried explaining why I was upset about it.i.e that as seen as we where not getting on at the min I am feeling a little insecure that he is out having fun with another women but cant make time for us to sort out what wrong. Sorry enough of my ranting

Morning all!

I woke up at 6am this morning ( ) so have been pottering around while boyf & his friend are still asleep, ive put the laundry on, some on the rads and bread loaf is in the maker. Ive located a phone number to make an appt for a haircut this week and had a little tidy up, but still got plenty to do!

Ive just had a lovely bar of green and black delivered courtesy of the freebies board which I am thoroughly enjoying along with a cup of tea, and shortly I might throw myself in the shower, then get on with fixing the cars. Logically - I should do the cars first but ill see how I feel shortly. So far, my monday list from the joannasmum thread:

Monday -

Find out why car is flashing a red exclamation mark at me and fix it;
Fix heater fan in boyf's car;
2 loads of laundry; 1 Completed
wash dishes & mop bathroom & kitchen
Clean bathroom;
change bedsheets and vaccuum everywhere.

isnt looking too bad! Im already loving my week off!! I think I might add to the list however, ive got leftover roast chicken to make something with (possibly something chinese for dinner) and need to organise the budget as im getting paid tomorrow and both accounts are at precisely £0.

Anyway, im off, hope you all have a lovely day!

I am off work this week and have lots to do. Need to catch up on some studying. Maybe find a new job. Tidy my bedroom. And a hundred other things as well.

Been having to do lots of overtime at work recently so I am looking forard to my wages next week.

If anyone has any fancy dress ideas could you have a look at my thread on the I Wanna boards.

Morning All

My day hasnt started off particulary well, DD was up for a large proportion of the night so we ended up sleeping in, but now I'm ready to start my challenge .
Today I'm going to springclean my bedroom its gross. The WM is on with the curtains in and the next load is the bedding. I've also taken some Stilton out of the freezer for brocolli and stilton soup so hopefully I can sort that out for lunch. DD is having Pasta with cheese and bacon sauce on it so thats another couple of things out of the freezer in the house. I need to nip to the shops to post acouple of letter and buy some Stardrops and I think I will need some proper Oven Cleaner its not been done for over a year.

Breakie: Tea and Toast
Lunch: Stilton Soup
Tea: Pizza
