    Morning all,

Well that was fun night ... not. DD decided to wake up at 03:20 and jump all over me until finally we got her back to sleep at 6 :( Then, because she was lacking in sleep she was a grumpy ol' moo ..... she's currently at Rhythm Time, I've got to pick her up in 10 mins and I'm still in my PJ's.

The weather here is grey and raining (or in Tweenies speak - yukerooney. Help me someone please!!)

Today is going to be long methinks.

Any suggestions for injecting me with enthusiasm / energy and patience would be most welcomed!

Right, here goes to getting dressed and finding a shopping list, time to drag her around the market in the rain. That should really cheer us up ;)

OS wise - finished her curtains bar the hem, which I will do once DH has put the curtain track up. Aim for today is to make matching duvet cover and pillowcase.

    B - Crunchy nut cornflakes
L - Beans or scrambled egg on toast (when bread has been made, DH got the timer wrong last night, oops!)
D - SC pork and butter bean casserole.

    Good Morning All

Sympathies to those who cant sleep - I am the opposite at them moment - seem to be in a very deep sleep when the alarm goes off and its taking me ages to wake up which is unusual for me.

Quite organised at the mo though do still feel v tired. Just got to hoover stairs and downstairs then thats the housework for the day done. Then going to straighten my hair and will keep washing machine going all day and do some ironing in front of telly. Then am off to have my eyebrows waxed at 1.30 so will be looking a bit scary this afternoon - luckily OH will do the school run.

More homework for tonight my DS has been put up a group at school and the homework is really hard so its a struggle to get him to do it and he's quite upset by it -t I appreciate that he was finding the other easy but now he's losing heart and he doesnt like homework at the best of times - oh well have parent/teacher evening tomm so will see what she has to say about it.

    L - Left oven chicken/coleslaw
    D - me & OH - Lamb Chops - Kids Cheesy pasta

Awww it feels good to be back :) My new computer is arriving tomorrow just need to ask my boss for a cheque so that I can pay for it. :o

Snowyowl - Sorry your insominia isn't getting any better. :(

PP - Sorry to hear you are really bad at the moment sounds like you are doing what the Docs are recommending I hope you pick up soon.

Catowen - I hope it goes okay at the hopsital today for you and also that your friends test goes well considering.

Michelle - Hugs I hope you perk up today...the joys of being pregnant still its worth it in the end.

Moggins - brrrr I hope your boiler can be fixed without major expense.

Girlpower - :) you go flybaby :) Remember you're not aiming for perfection.

Well I haven't had a chance to read up on whats been going on since I was last here so hugs to those who need them and I will try and catch up over the next couple of days.

I sold 20 of the 22 things I put on ebay on Monday, I was selling stuff for my sister and the rest was mine, I made £70 profit after all expenses so I'm well chuffed just waiting for the final payments so that I can work it all out and transfer money to savings account for holiday. :)

I've had an interesting couple of days and have fell off the OS / flybaby wagon briefly but I'm back on track now so all is well. Before I came on DH's laptop I made myself clean the kitchen and shine my sink. DW unloaded and loaded again, WM on as munch was sick in her sleep last night so had to change all her sheets and her while she was still asleep. Fortunately thanks to OS I had clean dry sheets in the cupboard ready unfortunately due to my slip I didn't have any dry pjs but managed to find something in the end....at least it helped me to be motivated today to get ironing done. ;)

Plan for today is to post more ebay parcels and drop one off, then iron and tidy some more of my home office. :D DH is working away tonight so I plan to spend the evening doing some online banking as my balance seems worryingly low but as I said in the GC at least I kept below my budget so that will have helped a bit. Right off to pack parcels and tidy....

B - Crunchy nut cornflakes for me, strawberries, apples raisins and 1 grape for munch.
L - Sandwiches with HM Wholemeal bread.
D - Pasta in tom sauce with chopped up sausages

    Have a good day everyone!
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

    Morning all :hello:

I typed this in Word as our internet server has been down all morning so I couldn’t get on MSE

I think I achieved a reasonable amount yesterday evening. First job was to make some dinner and use up some veggies in the process. I did chicken and mushrooms in a white sauce, with swede and new potato mash. It was not my greatest culinary success – the chicken was kind of flavourless and the sauce was too runny (it basically needed more seasoning and cornflour – also could have done with a dash of white wine, but I knew if I opened the bottle I’d probably have polished off the rest, and I wanted to stay on the wagon yesterday as I’ve really overdone it in the past few days!) and the veggie mash turned out really soggy (nice though!)

I did think about making Black Saturn’s fruit cobbler but didn’t get around to it – ingredients are in the cupboard awaiting the next possible opportunity (my first attempt will involve a tin of strawberries  ).

Then I got the tidying-up bug at midnight :o My bedroom was like a bomb site and there were piles of clean clothes on every surface  which had to be rectified because housemate’s got his friendly local plumber/boiler-man coming round today and the central heating boiler lives in my room. And once I started tidying, I couldn’t stop! P/B-M is coming over to fix the leaky pipe on the hot-water boiler in the bathroom, so we’re getting the other boiler serviced and some dodgy washers replaced on the kitchen taps while he’s here. Anyway, at least the washing is now all in drawers instead of on the piano stool – which means I can actually use the piano :D

My new Blue Amex card arrived in the post yesterday so I phoned up and activated it (before using it to buy part of BF’s birthday present – couldn’t use it for the whole thing as the best price for one of the items was on Blah DVD and they don’t take Amex  ). They gave me a £5,600 limit – which I don’t even NEED! (£1,500 would have been quite sufficient – I’ll be paying it in full each month and I never spend anything even close to that amount. I’m considering getting the limit lowered so I’ve got less useless credit to my name.) Also completed the transfer form for my ISA, set up Internet Banking with the Halifax (and opened a Web Saver account so that I can now open a Regular Saver that’s linked to it) and searched in vain for a very important piece of paper I’m supposed to be signing and returning to my dad :o I KNOW it’s there somewhere!

Lunch will be risotto with mushrooms and red onion (reheated), dinner will be last night’s leftovers.

Hugs to all you insomniacs and sick people :D :grouphug:

    Morning all!

Can everybody have a look around and see if they've got my "oomph" hiding in the back of a cupboard somewhere? :o It seems to have left home.

So far this morning, I've done the princely sum of walk the dogs. Oh yes - and chat in email with my rowdy mates and browse MSE. By the way, be ready for an infusion of rowdy mates, because I've posted about MSE OS so often that they've caved and come to see what its all about. :D

I haven't even taken today's MML (mobile memory list) out of the notebook, let alone consulted what I'm supposed to be doing! Hmmn, lets be brave and have a look ... okaaaay, well, that's not so bad. Seems like a lot of vacuuming and some Ebaying, then pizza making for tonight. I should be able to squash that into an afternoon. ;)

Please feel free to administer a kick up the bum if you find me crumpled, snoring, in a corner somewhere.

Oh! By the way! Jonty, the pooch in my avatar pic, is now a Great Red Hunter, as he caught a mouse last night! :T He decided to despatch it on my sitting room carpet, but fortunately no blood was lost and mousey expired in one piece, if a bit soggy. That saves us getting a cat!!

Hugs to everyone - it seems as though we all need a bit of TLC in one way or another, today.

B : Peanut butter & banana wholemeal toast sarnie.
    L : Carrot & Lentil h/m soup
D : h/m pizza - its our first go, so wish us luck! :D
:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:

    Morning all,

Hugs to all of you who are feeling under the weather.

I am still feeling a little woozy (sp) today, getting a dizzy head every now and again. I managed to rest a bit yesterday but I got engrossed with my ebaying and managed to list 15 items on, I even worked out how to put the pics on without OH's help! I managed to get myself out for an hour with my mum in the evening, we went to the gym where OH works, I had a sun bed and sat and chatted with a glass of wine whilst mum swam, I didn't feel strong enough to swim so decided not to.

I have already done a load of washing and put some stuff in the TD, done a pile of ironing and am about to hang a few bits on the line. Then its off to town for a few things then back home to make chilli for dinner. Am then going out for a pre b day drink with a friend.

Take care everyone and have a lovely day,

    Purplegirl
