Morning all
Congrats on your review, Jo - well done.
Hope you're feeling more comfortable later, P-P.
Well, today I have cause to thank all you people from the bottom of my bread machine, for enthusing me sufficiently to have a go at home made pizza. You all seemed to be so confident about creating pizza from next to nothing, even in the face of DH's skepticism over the whole thing, I armed myself with half a sausage, a rasher of bacon, a tin of tomatoes, some cheese and creativity .. and triumped in a BIG way!! Pizza dough made in the BM couldn't be any easier. We had two 14" pizzas, were all completely stuffed and had leftovers which DH has put dibs on for lunch today. All for the princely sum of about £1.50. So I kneel before you and am not worthy.
Yesterday really ended on a high note with regard to the search for the Treacle People DVD - as we followed PC Nicko Pendle No. 149 of the Yard's advice and went all over town to his recommended outlets - but no DVD. So I mailed him back to let them know that their distributors weren't distributing .. and he and his colleagues have looked in their cash box and decided they have sufficient change to send us the DVD for free!! :T How fantastic is that??? I had such fun mailing them in "Treacle Speak" and they mailed back the same way. Brilliant.
There's not much on the "to do" list today, a bit of vacuuming and weilding the microfibre cloths with intent upon dusty surfaces (so the Guinea Pig had better watch out, or he'll get a bit of a buffing up, too).
Hope everyone has a good day today. Hugs to those who are hugless.

poshpaws- lol wow thats a nice surprise re treacle people!
purplegirluk - HAPPY BIRTHDAY
ok well my morning started the way yesterday ended and my kettle broke down.
inthe space of a week i have driven over my mobile phone blue tooth headset ) yes i know how horrid they are but i do need it for my motorway hours and for work when im on standby ), broken and then LOST my watch, the car has mystery flashing warning lights and now the kettle has stopped boiling. Surely there cant be anything else - but i mustnt moan - at least me and mine are fit and healthy.
So off to the garage this morning to sit and wait while they diagnose the car problem , then to tescos for a new value kettle and some puff pastry - which i WAS going to make myself for tonights chicken pie but have decided not to even attempt it with the way my week is going. : )
off to make a nice milky coffee to get my day off to a decent start.
hugs to all

Good morning,
Happy Birthday PurplegirlUK
PP - Hope you have a good day,
Jo - well done on the review
Poshpaws - Well done on the pizza and excellent re the DVD!!!!
Well, today is the day i have my wisdom tooth out, my mum has come down (loaded down with a massive food parcel for us) just for last night and today, i think she is worried i will bleed to death as they take the tooth out, but thats why ive had the transfusions the last couple of days, so im not worried, but i guess thats a mums job for you, i would be the same with one of mine!!!!
My friend is still in hospital, sounds like they c**ked up the lumber punture yesterday, so they need to do it again, so i know she isnt looking forward to that, i think being in hospital is making her feel worse at the moment, so we will all be pleased when they finally let her come home.
As most of my day will be spent at the hospital (bit fed up of that journey now) not much else happening today, will have to see how i feel when i get home.
Hope everyone has a lovely day, take care

Morning All
Good luck Catowen, can't be fun but it'll soon be over.
Well, need to have a general tidy & clean today, nothing major but a whip round with the vacuum & duster wouldn't go amiss. A Morrocan lamb casserole is in the slow cooker for tonight as we have people comming for dinner.
My other big job for today is to get the invites to Spuds baptism posted to those I can't email to. Have to say, feel like I sould issue a general invite to you guys as you've been so fab & with me every day since the start of my pregnancy! Anyone going to be in the West Molesey area on St Georges day??!! OK, maybe not, visions of you all turing up with home made loaves & slow-cooked chicken for the occasion!
Have a good one;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0 -
Morning all,
Good luck at the hospital cat
BW you have my complete admiration for even considering making puff pastry, not a thing I will ever even attempt.
We all overslept this morning and I found there was no milk, why didn't DH point this out to me yesterday when he made coffee? So DD has had toast and DS has gone off to school with a banana and no breakfast
Today I am finishing putting DD's clothes away, sorting out what she has grown out of and hoovering the bedrooms, I'm hoping to find some time to finish the rug I'm making today but we shall see, no doubt more jobs will appear as I am working.
Must go and do DD's lunchbag now and sort her hair out ready for school.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Jo - well done on the good review!
P-P - join the club on the good ebay results. I've got a "heat it up!" heat gun and ebossing powder listed ATM, with 3 days still to go it's been bid up from 99p to £6.91 over 5 bids and there are 10 people watching it :j Also doing well with some ink pads which have been bid up from 50p to £2.26 :j
Posh-paws - Well done on the free DVD!
Brokenwings - dont' worry sometimes bad things come in threes...you should be finished now
Catowen - good luck on getting your tooth out and hugs to your friend.
Today I've got some ebay parcels to send. I've got more washing to do (will I ever see the end of it? ) and I should really clean through as well as the floor in the livingroom is horrible because of all the wet weather we've had - there's footprints all over it
I will though be sitting down for my dinner again while I read some more of Harry Potter and the Half-blood PrinceIf I feel up to it later I might even finish off the ironing that I couldn't do the other day, but it all depends on how far I get with the other jobs.
Breakfast - toast, 3 pieces of fruit.
Lunch - ?
Tea - Bean Crumble (from the recipe thread)
Hope you all have a good/better day. Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
