    Afternoon all,

I have had a horrid day at work, all the children were very naughty and I now feel totally drained, yuck!!!

I am having HM veggie soup and reduced fresh bread for tea, i'm looking forward to it already! I am going to have a nap in a little while and then have a peaceful evening as OH is working a late.

No plans for any cooking today but I will write up my meal planner soon.

Have a nice afternoon and evening all,

    Purplegirl

    Good Afternoon

Had quite good day - some housework done and loads of paperwork.

Have done 1 load of washing and there's not enough ironing yet to make getting the iron out worthwhile :j

Children are playing at mom need to put shepherds pie from freezer in the oven and some veg on & thats dinner sorted. After dinner think will try & persuade them to do at least half an hours worth of homework (do hate how much primary school age children get).

Want to sort out holiday photos into album/frames before is too late so may attempt that tonight (I am on a mission to sort photos as I get them developed rather than 2 years later like I used to!!) then will chill watching Dalziel & Pascoe.

Wont get much done as off to my nans tomm - she is 94 and either is in a chair all day or in bed - visiting is not much fun but always feel better after ive been - hope she does to.

    Have a Good Evening all.

Well, today didn't work out as planned at all. Tesco didn't have the Treacle People DVD, even though its listed as having been released on the 6th, so had to get DH a chocolate orange and some Green & Black's Cherry Chocolate as a consolation prize and put £10 in his card, instead. :(

Some idiot in a yellow van very nearly wrote off the car by cutting across me half way around a roundabout - frightened the life out of me, but fortunately I braked hard and in time and we just missed each other.

Decided against tackling DH about the predicted shortfall on the rent, as if we fall out over it, its going to blight his birthday - which is going to be dull enough as it is. Yes, I know, he deserves to be tackled and tackled hard - I swear I'll do it on Wednesday. You never know, as he'll be 40 yrs old by then, he might have grown some common-sense.

So, aside from all that, have changed all the beds (and managed to knock a huge lump of skin out of one knuckle while shaking the bedsheet out of the window. Necessary because DH has psoriasis and is a creator of much dust!). Vacuumed the sitting and dining rooms and done next week's meal plan and tomorrow's shopping list. I've still got quite a few things on my mobile memory, though - so I'd better get on.

Have a lovely evening all.
:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:

Hugs to PP - glad youre at home - hospital is horrible at the best of times.

PoshPaws - glad you avoided an accident and bless you for being so sweet about DHs b'day and so patient about the rent shortfall - what are treacle people? should i be embarassed that i dont know?

Thriftlady - one day we are sure to pass one another in tescos and not realize it! shall we start wearing the safety pin OS badge?

to everyone else who wants or needs hugs - heres a ton of 'em.

I have not had a great day - ran out of paint for the kitchen - so started with the tile effect wallpaper and did behind the cooker etc then realized ive messed the pattern of the tiles up - well it will just have to stay because im getting bored of this project now : )

had contemplated painting the fronts of the kicten units but decided ill give them a really good scrub with sugar soap tomorrow and see how they come up before i embark on anything else.

i have some vintage teddies selling on ebay with all auctions ending in the next hour - looks like i might make approx £300 - so thats cheering me up a bit.

My to do list still has 19 things on it - ouch.

    see you all tomorow

    good evening to all..

today i made up some boxes so i can start to clear some cupboards and kitchen cupboards of things i can put away till i move. some boxes i can leave unsealed but put things in and out and also chuck out as i come across things. Dd came in from school and thought it was great fun playing with the boxes, kids huh. gave her a box of her own and trying to put stuff in the others, i cant see a end to all this and ive made a promise to myself when i move to stop buying stuff i dont need, things are only a bargain if you actually need them. I need a whole life change and will start all this when i move, lose weight need to for health reasons and have a whole new outlook on life, will be great cooking for two adults again as when i cook what you lot suggest for me and a 11 yr old i have loads left over lol..

anyway im off now going upstairs to sort the washing out and hang up..

    tattie bye for now
