    Afternoon all

Been cleaning windows at mum's this morning, as mine don't need doing. The mouslings decided they would clean them for me yesterday.....it looks as if they have smeared them all with milk (they hadn't :D). Guess what I'll be doing later. And I only did them a week or so ago :(

The snow's nearly all gone, but Mr Carrot-nose is still alive and well in the front garden. We're meant to get some more tonight tho.

Need to think about what to get out for tea. May make a stir through sauce up and just have pasta, but not much cream cheese left. Hmm - decisions. Have green pesto, but kids will probably moan.

Managed to sort out boys rooms yesterday and then gave mine a good clean. Ironing all done last night so no mountains to climb to get to the corner of the bedroom :D

(((hugs))) for those in need, especially tiptoes. You can moan at us as much as you need hun - you've got to let it out.

MATH - how dare you suggest I partake of too much alcofrol :D:D Even when they've driven me round the bend, by the time I sit down, Mr TM has usually drunk it :rotfl:

    Ok -catch ya later

Made another pot of soup in slow cooler overnight and a brown loaf is in the breadmaker.

DH likes his pea and ham soup to look "green" - if I put too much potato etc in then it goes brown and he looks disappointed.

Guess who just bought a 34pence bottle of green food colouring and what it is for?????

Made DD(12) frozen croissant and pain au chocolat to cheer her up.

She had bacon, egg, beans and two slices of toast for brekkie - her appetite has really improved since she got her appendix out!

ahhhhhhh, im soooo cross. just had a call from the school about DS1. the dept head phoned as my son has lost his school jumper (about a week ago) and has been wearing a blue hoody till he finds it. they phoned to tell me they have made him wear a spare one and although it doesnt fit properly he will have to wear it for the moment but he was throwing a strop about it. i told them to have him ready because i was going to come and pick him up. went in, git son, bought a new jumper to take home and label, and told them he would be back in tomorrow.

when we got in the car it transpires that the jumper he was wearing when i collected him, they made him change into just before i picked him up....the one he was made to wear most of the day was 6inches too short in the arms and he was stropping because he looked stupid. they also made him miss lunch beacuse he was refusing to put it on.

    Hi everyone!
Very busy day today...spent this morning doing a mock exam. Splendid. My boss has confirmed that I shall be working longer hours from this week and providing that we are successful with the tender I shall be full time from August. One busy Mummy methinks!!
After school I'm helping out at Eco Club followed by a very large glass of white wine methinks [except that botheration we finished it last night!]
Whizz home to make HM lunches and we're going to have gammon with HM red pepper and pineapple relish which I found wallowing at the bottom from the freezer. I wonder how how old it is............best not to dwell.
I've got a friend coming over this evening- was planning a trip to the cinema but there's nowt on I fancy so I'm going to rent a DVD from the library instead on the way home.

Afternoon All, just having a browse whilst DS is at playgroup.

JD I would be angry at the school as well. My son lost his brand new jumper at school, it had his name in but never turned up. I'm sure another child took it home and name was removed. The school kept saying it'll turn up if it's got his name in. Oh yeah! A new one cost me £8.25.

Well best go, and do the playgroup/school runs.

Keep Warm Everyone, more snow forecast for us tonight, up to 4 inches.

Hi Yall, Hit the bedroom carpet running at 7am this morning and have only just stopped. Just got back from Aldi. I'm pleased I've managed to get all the groceries for this week for £31:j Just got to cobble together a broccoli and spaghetti bake and all me jobs are done. The house looks very clean and tidy so if any bright spark is gonna start another post a pic thread do it NOW.;) LOL

We're off to the coast this weekend and I've managed to tempt Mrs MATH to come with us with the promise of unlimited electric blanket use. LOL so plenty of time to kick back then.

TM Sorry It's not my place to brand you and alchofrolic . LOL

Racyred Still waiting for news on the Boots job. Should hear by the begining of next week. All our hopes are pinned on this as there are no other jobs in the pipeline and the redundancy money is down to the last few coppers.

Gotta go the school run is calling.

Schools are not allowed to do this you should put in a complaint. They are not allowed to make pupils look stupid at all, only postive affirmants is allowed. This is a disgrace the teachers should not be putting the pupils down!
I will see if I can find the particular paper that states this for you. BIG HUGS to you and your son

I'm sure this happens at our school too.My dd has lost her entire PE kit,all named,it is not in school.I'm sure someone took it home by mistake at half-term and it has been kept.I know this happened to another mum, because she found a jumper months after one of her dd's went missing in the lost property box and the name she had sewn (in a very distinctive way )had been picked out.I've lost dozens of little plastic food tubs in school too.Makes me

    afternoon everyone.

I've had a wonderful morning. I've been on a half spa day, so i had a lovely swim in a fairly empty private pool, a facial and a manicure. I don't know if its the exercise, but i don't feel sick today, and it is fantastic. i did a gentle 30 lengths and then 10 minutes in the jacuzzi, and i have felt quite good.

The midwife came yesterday. I was up really early so i'd be ready for her, and then ended up waiting around for ages. It went well, and then i had a bit of a tizz thinking i was perhaps not really pregnant. Don't know why, but i talked to my sister and she said she had felt like that too. I ended up doing another test, and i still was, so that was good. I should be having a scan in early April.

Have read the thread, but i have a tired foggy brain so i can't remember what to say to anyone, so hugs if you need one. All i can remember is BRZL saying she felt ill. You aren't pregnant too are you?? ;)

I'm going to have a well earned rest now in front of the telly. All i have to do today now is peel some spuds to add to some mince cooked yesterday to make a shepherds pie.

    Michelle, x
