Hi Yall, I can't remember when I last posted on the daily thread without there being 30+ posts before me. I'm having a day off from paid2clicks today (hence the early surf on MSE) and we have been invited out for dinner after church so not too much to do. I don't even need to soil my kitchen which I cleaned and tidied yesterday so I could post a pic on the nosey thread. LOL I may never cook in it again now cos it is so uncluttered. Lean Cuisine here we come:eek:

PP Sorry to hear you've not been well, I've really missed you on OS. A big hug and cuddle is sent through cyberspace to speed your recovery.

Well my evening in bliss soon ended last night when dp and our two friends came back all very drunk  luckily the wine I jad drunk was taking effect otherwise I would have felt very left out. :D
Not much planned today I was going to tackle the shed, but looks like that has been snowed off :D it so rarely settles here it was so lovely to see a very light blanket of the stuff. Just wish there was enough to make a snow man as my dd would love it.
DP off to footie in a bit.
    hugs

    Morning all

PP - glad to see you back - good luck for the hospital tomorrow - take care

I woke up to 7 inches this morning - of snow that is - and it is still going - what a shock
OH is working today - there was 2 foot of snow round the car - swept most of it off the car came back in for his shower and coffee - was almost covered again - usually it is a 20 min drive he left an hour before normal - took him 5 mins to get out of parking space - have told him to call me as soon as he gets to work - then he has to contest with driving a 14ton fire engine

Well nothing much doing here today - my dad was supposed to be coming down to watch the footie this afternoon - and going home with his dinner -roast pork, roast potatoes and apple sauce - dont know if he will make it as it is too treacherous to drive and he wont be able to walk with his arthritis

    MIght make some biscuits later

b/l - leftover chicken thighs from last night
D - roast pork (already made and sliced), HM apple sauce and roast potatoes

    take care all

    Hugs to everyone

    Good morning everyone,

A very wet morning here, we have just been watching the weather forcast and DS and DD are most put out that everywhere seems to have snow, except for us!!!!
We are going to have a really lazy day today, will be making a roast for lunch (pork), WM with my bedding on and DD and i will be doing some baking later but thats it. Will ring my friend in hospital later, to see how she is, and might go and visit her, if she is up to a visit. Yesterday she was pleased to see us, but kept falling asleep, and i know she desperatly wants to come home tomorrow after the scan, so i will see what she thinks when i phone her. Will have to be home by 4 tho, have promised DS he can watch the football :footie: , whilst DD and i do that baking  .
Must mention again, thank you for all those lovely wishes from yesterday for my friend, i told her all about MSE and the best wishes for her, and she was really touched :happyhear .
Well, going to have a cup of decaf and have a nosy at any new kitchens that have appeared on that thread since last night!!!
Take care everyone (lovely to see you back PP, hope you have a good day, and all goes well tomorrow x)

Good morning everyone. No snow here (herts) thankfully.

Off out soon to get some fruit and veg (first spending out of March's food budget), a paper and a Mothering Sunday card. A new Wilkinsons has just opened in town, so will probably take a peek in there too.

Plans for the rest of the day include colouring my hair, hoovering, making and freezing lots of chicken curry and making veg soup for this week's lunches.

Morning All, a blanket of snow covering West Yorkshire and it's still snowing, no gardening today.

PP, sorry to hear you are not well, good luck at the hospital tomorrow.

Yummy tea today, brisket cooked in guiness, onoins and mushrooms, same as last week but we love it. My butcher sells lovely brisket and it's cheap.

Got another load of ironing to do and a general tidy round. Hoping for a no spend day as monthly budget looking a bit sparse.

    Morning....

PP - glad to see you back! You were missed over the last few days!

Managed an early night last night...asleep by 10.30!! It was my turn to get up early this morning..6.30am. Have, so far, done ALL the ironing!! Need to do 2-3 loads of washing today, but at least school uniforms/work clothes are done!!

DS1 has just come back from his swimming lesson - he's got his 5 metre badge!!!! We're so chuffed!!!!!! (and so is he):T Apparently he could do 10 metres (on his back) but can't get the badge until he does it on his front!

Am considering popping to local shopping centre today...but we'll have to see! Don't really need anything - just fancied getting out of the house!!

DW has been emptied and have started refilling. Am going to have a go at Black-Saturn's lunchtime soup recipe in the SC today! Don't know what dinner will be yet..we had a meat/2veg meal yesterday, so may do something else today!

Still need to do some housework..will do a bit later!

Have started my tesco online shop, just need to do my menu plan for the week!

Hope you all have a great day!!!!
