Penny-Pincher!!

Morning

Havent posted for a couple of days as I havent been too well and have had no energy at all:mad: Never mind! Am back up hospital tomorrow for tests and a special scan.

Have been up since 4am finishing my 1st TMA for my course and have finally completed it and will be sent off in the morning. Just have to do a couple of checks to make sure I have put correct relevant names in there:rolleyes:

Have just put the 1st load in the WM and probably have another 2 to do as nothing really has got done over the past 2 days-may even have to use the TD once today:eek: House is clean and pretty tidy though. Toilet cleaned and DW half full.

Got some chicken breasts out last night and we're having chicken chaussuer today in the SC with mashed spuds....scrummy!!

Only a short one as still not feeling good and need all me energy for hospital visit tomorrow.

well its good morning from snow covered bristol!!! yep woke up and everything is covered and its still coming,girlies are both looking out of windows excitedly but sadly as they both still have heavy colds and since yesterday afternoon have had slightly dodgy stomachs we will be staying in today.

not decided on meals yet.....our cooked meal will be lunchtime though as DH is on lates,means we still all eat together for a meal.

will be back later,off to get cuppa.

Moggins really sorry to hear about your son, what a dreadful ordeal but at least the police are taking it seriously now.
LOts of hugs to all those not feeling well or with loved ones ill or in hospital.
I had one of those lovely wake ups this morning. My husband accidentally woke me just before 5am as he was getting up (he couldn't sleep) & I said, 'I've forgotten to set me alarm, can you get me up at 5.30'. he asked why & so I told him Iwas at work at 8am today. When he said 'No you're not it's Sunday' I thought I was in heaven so I rolled over & had 2 more hours sleep - bliss.
WE went visiting my DH's brother & family yesterday, they've bought a new house just before Christmas & we hadn't seen it yet. OMG, how the other half live! The house is in Old Windsor surrounded on both sides by the Thames so they have a garden one side & decking the other both overlooking the river. There's 6 bedrooms, I lost count of the bathrooms, an indoor swimming pool with a hot tub & sauna, a snooker room & they've converting another room into a cinema with surround sound & a floor that vibrates when there's a loud noise for extra realism. They're not a bit grand, lovely people but he's done really well & they deserve it.
I love my little home & at least I have a lot less cleaning.

Morning all

Sorry to here you have been ill PP

Well its all very strange here this morning DD is still at here sleep over and i only have DS to look after this morning.

Not up to much today as i was up most the night coughing. I have to take DD to a party but i am lift sharing so i only have to one way.

Must remember to get the piece of pork out for lunch.

Plan on making some Cookies and cakes for pack ups.

I am also starting the slimfast diet today. Most of my problem is that i do not eat so this has to be better.

Good Morning All

Not posted much recently as have been busy getting my routine sorted - think I am getting there.

Am going out for lunch with mil today - all paid for which is nice for my budget but the company........oh well I will keep thinkg about the steak and kidney pudding I shall probably have.

Is v cold here so dont think will get out for a long walk after lunch but instead will get an important report for work done. Also have got to dig out my digital camera for the 'where the old style happens' thread - I am really enjoying that.

My apologies for not posting again this week, ive been reading the threads and congratulations and ((((hugs)))) to all those who had news. My week has been fairly boring as usual, working and the like, and trying to prepare for ny review next week. I bought a digital camera for some projects that are coming up (a freind needs artwork for her final year show for the projectors on a particular theme and I need to actually create around a 1000 images before april!) and boyf gig next saturday needs shots taking too. My film SLR is lovely and im not getting rid of it, its just that for some things the whole film thing just takes too long to get sorted.

Boyf has had a load of studio equiptment delivered yesterday too courtesy of his parents so we need to get that set up too today. Fortunately the only cleaning that really needs doing is the bathroom and the dishes, im making boyf hoover and change the bedsheets. The cat has been very affectionate this week and has been pretty much sleeping with me for most of the night, which is very sweet, but she occassionally turns herself around via walking on me and waking me up.

Aside from that I intend to spend the day watching charmed and some uktv food, and if I feel so inclined I may do some muffin baking. Im about to make soup in the sc for work next week, and im pretty happy because after this one ive got a week off so ill have a really good relax then.

Anyway, soup doesnt make itself and the dishes dont was themselves so id better dash, have a good day all!

PP: Sorry to hear you not felling to great the last few day, hope all goes ok at the hospital tomorrow.

Moggins: Glad to see the police turned up at last and are taking it seriously. Think your other half should be made to spend 24hrs living your life then, let him make comment. My other half use to say I had it easy now he usually looks the kids when I work and has admitted that my life is no sitting on bottom watching morning telly. ( i do watch Mathew Wright but don't tell him this :rolleyes: )

Snowing here today about three inches on the ground and still coming, though my 2 still arent intrested. Not much Os today except to strip the beds and do the ironing, as got an essay to write. Though house is still clean from thursady so might jsut give the floor a once over later.

Still half asleep so its gonna be a short post this morning. Kids been up watching telly for a while. Gotta rush now and get them fed and washed and dressed for Sunday School. Had planned to do gardens today but looks like that plan will change - have plenty to do inside anyway - like a mountain of ironing :eek: Where does it all come from
B: Banana and Bran flakes and a nice hot cuppa
L:Beans and toast (maybe/maybe not)
At mums so duno - followed by raspberry fruit cobbler ala Black Saturn - can't wait!
