WM on for second time, BM on, I'm looking though my recipe books, deciding what cake to make for next week, no one liked banana bread except me! I may try Black Saturn's malt loaf, see if the lodgers like that. Roll on the Easter hols, 2 weeks off! I'm going to try & get a temp job for the hols if poss.
Am also getting ready to do some ebay selling, tho not sure if anyone will buy what I'm selling. Any advice on what sells best?

Well the flat is pretty tidy for once , can't think why- perhaps its all in boxes :rotfl:
nowt much planned for today apart from more packing washing and cleaning.
OH actually I have a dreaded job, pulling up the lino in the bathroom and I know full well there is a patch of mould next to the bathwhere the water gets underneath. Also going to try and paint the one wall in the lounge that needs doing. OUR little dd 2yo drew on it 2 hours before the inspector came to see if the flat was in good decortive order  and it won't wash off the wall paper.
Still trying to figure out the best way to move my fish and their tank, when the time comes. Fo I put all the fish in a bucket and empty the tank or take out 1/2 the water and move them all in one gowill ask my dad :cheesy:
had a late night last night as we had friends round and totally typical that all the kids slept through, 1st time since before baby arrived
hugs to all

Good morning (just about!)
DH let me have a bit of a lie in today - got up around 7.30am!
He's now gone to the footie (12.00 kick off) and I've just got back from taking DS1 & 2 to the park (it was COLD though!) Am going to see my sister in a bit.
Not feeling very OS at the moment - need to do housework etc...but can't face it! Watched Anthea Turner the other night - and realised that I probably don't do too badly in terms of organisation, but not as well as her in terms of cleaning!!!!!!!! I realised my house is not dirty though!!
Well, kids are calling (DS1 is watching motor racing) I think it's time for lunch!
Have a great day everyone!!20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

I could do with doing some ironing and sorting my clothes cupboard out for a charity pick up on Monday but other than that I am hoping for nice chilled weekend.0 -
Morning.
It seems very quiet on here today.
mossy - congrats to your family for the new arrival.
moggins - good to see the police can turn up quickly hey. Thank god your son didn't need them urgently.
catowen - i'll be thinking of you and your friend.
squeaky - well you were right. the kittens slept till they got home, and then were on fine form. I was told to feed them chicken, rice or eggs, so i was there dutifully defrosting a chicken breast and trying to make scrambled eggs for them, and they were up on the side, trying to eat the raw egg, and trying to eat the cooked stuff while it was still really hot, so i ended up having to stand with it in my hands, stirring it and blowing on it to cool, like you would for a baby. DH was just laughing at me and threatening to take a picture to show the midwife that i was having a craving for eating out the cat bowl. It did look like it.
So far today, we were up at 7, one of the cats was sick, so i made DH clean it up while i cooked porridge. We then had to pop to DH's workplace to take a trailer back, and then did a quick tour of the ASDA. I spent more than usual, but we picked up a few convenience bits like jars of sauce, fresh pasta, as i have been feeling so tired and sick. It will be easier for DH to cook if he has to then, or i can probably cope myself to turn a couple of gas rings on and empty packets.
DH is now at work till god knows when, so its up to me to do the tidy up for the midwife visit. (Or half-way nurse as DH insists on calling her.)
Best go and attempt something. I might end up having an afternoon nap though as i was in bed for 9 last night, and i really want to spend a bit of time with DH.
Enjoy yourselves,
Michelle, x0 -
morning all well it hasnt rained her yet but said that yesterday and then the skies opened lol. my little darling is at the present sitting at the table doing maths not homework but a maths book she was given at school to do as and when. This new found confidence is all down to VickyA she came round to mine a few weeks ago to give encouragement and advice to my dd and now there is no stopping her.. Huge thanks to vicky and we have agreed that she will come round once a fortnight to help boost her confidence even more and bring on her english as well..

Afternoon :hello:
Eeek - it's the afternoon already? Where did the morning go???? I had far too much wine last night - most of it freeI went out to the theatre last night with a friend, and bought myself one large glass of wine while I was waiting for her (in the Wetherspoons across the road, not in the pricey theatre bar
) but then my friend bought me a second glass to say thanks for getting free tickets, THEN at the theatre somebody bought me one to apologise for spilling her drink over me (!) and then we got invited to the press reception with free wine
so, in total, that was three large glasses and two small
To those who've been wondering where Penny-Pincher is, didn't she say something a couple of days back about how the hospital might have to keep her in? She's not been on MSN either.
Hope you had a lovely birthday Racy!
Right, can't stop too long as have got to rustle up something for lunch. Got lots of mushrooms and a green pepper to use up, but have just realised I'm out of onions. Actually I also have leftover stirfried chicken and veg from Wednesday, so p'raps the other stuff can wait until tomorrow.
Might pop back later,
