Aarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhh
WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING FREE CALLS AFTER 6PM when Mr "I can't be bothered to think about anything" makes long distant calls at 5.50 - which is to hismum and could wait 10 mins!! AND he's not even used 18866!!
!!!! - I'm soooo mad at him - it's just typical of the brainless oaf - and I'll bet anyone a pound to a penny he comes home with 3 bottles of wine from Costcutter (3 for £10) again!!
(ok - it's only a few pence in the great scheme of things, but it's the principle of the matter) And I got the 'whatever' comment when I dared to mention it too.0 -
TM - mine is the exact same - he wonders why I make him wait till after 6pm to make calls - as for 1471 - 3 - just realised we get charged 6p per time we use it - needless to say it has not been used since.
LOL Squeaky - that looks just like my Becky - she climbed right to the top of our hall wall when it still had that flocked wallpaper on it.
ChaMichelle - hope the kitties are ok after losing the family jewels - 2 of mine where a bit groggy after being dressed but Becky - just bounced up and got on with it
Hugs to all who need them
Better go as I can feel eyes burrowing in the back of my from DSS who is waiting to go on the computer - cant wait till we get a router then I can use the laptop
Take care

Morning LTS, morning everyone else
Sitting here with my porridge and green tea and taking advantage of the peace and quiet to surf on here - although boys are of, course, up
Had a fairly decent night's sleep. Did a bit of decluttering last night in my bedroom - sorted all my drawers and binned all the grot that accumulates. Still need to tackle "that drawer" in the kitchen soon though - when you open it, strange life forms spring out at you and try and devour your fingers. I took my life in my hands today when I reached for the sellotape
Today I shall have to go and buy DS1 some more clothes. The great lanky beast has a nice line in ankle-showing trousersand his jumpers/t-shirts are all belly button skimming :rotfl: He tells me his shoes are too small - which they weren't last week BEFORE his best mate got some new school shoes
The laundry mountain is currently a hill (unwashed) bt I intend to make the ironing pile resemble at least Mt. Blanc today - if I can't manage Everest
Ok - DS2 is requesting weetabix (2 bowls of other cereal still doesn't hit the spot) so I'll be back later.
(((hugs))) to those in pain/ill or in general need of some support.

Were are all the early birds, hopefullly it means you've all had a goodnights sleep. Off to work today and OH is doing overtime, so my sis is having the kids for the day. Though I know it going to end-up costing me big time, in hassle and pounds, would have been better trying to swap my shift if OH had given me more notice.
Anyway enough of my moaning, I not finished reading yesterdays thread yet so I'll go lok round that know.

Good morning everyone,
So far, a better day than yesterday, but then, ive only been up half an hour and yesterday wasnt good. After the fuss with the doctors and parents evening, my best friend was taken into hospital for scans on her head, as she has been getting headaches which have been making her pass out and be sick. So far they havnt said what it is/could be, but they are keeping her in all weekend, so im going to go and visit her later, i really hope it will be nothing serious. It is very worrying.
Anyway, better news so far today, the vein in my arm has gone back to normal, and isnt aching anymore, and i managed to sell 3 things on ebay last night for £46, so every little helps towards our holiday in June.
Have to take DS to football in a bit, so far its still sunny here, but the forcast is rain, so will prob start at the same time as his match!!!
Will also go into Plymouth this afternoon, to do any shopping we need, and then its up to the hospital.
Hope everyone has a lovely day, hugs to all who need one,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Morning all
Well, it's Saturday at last!!!! Just had breakfast and I now need to think about climbing into the shower. My dad is still in hospital, so I'm off up to see him. He doesn't know that I'm going, so it'll be a nice surprise for him (I hope). Apparently he has a stomach ulcer, couldn't quite hear my mum when she said what sort/where it was, which has not helped with the bleeding. He's also completely off food, other than oranges and "Tiger soup". Tiger soup is my mum's home made tomato soup and is simply fantastic, so who can blame him. My mum is having to take this into hospital for him for lunch time, but then she's going to meet me in Lincoln and buy me lunch. That's before we walk towards the hospital for official visiting hours!
I've given OH strict instructions today that he's to brew one of his chilli con carnes. We've got most of the ingredients needing to be used up, so it's a perfect excuse. We'll eat it just before we go out this evening to see Louis de Bernieres (get us!). Our town seems to have a literature festival every year, and has people such as Joanna Trollope, PD James and Louis de Bernieres, amongst others!
Anyway, I'd better go.
