Awww so sorry to hear that Kiwichick! I was a chronic driving test failure but did pass eventually so please don't give up hope. For me the issue was nerves rather than driving, although obviously it affected that.0

((((((((((Moggins and DS ,KC, WOAS and Frey))))))))))))))
Hope that the Police and the school sort it out for you, its awful that this can happen in School and nothing be done about it.
Just finished my supper, cauli and brocc gratin, baked tomatoes and jacket spuds, raspberries in jelly with a little splash of cream.
KC so sorry you failed your driving test, but keep at it, it took my mother 8 goes before she passed. Frey I wish you were closer to me, we have all the boxes from our last move in the loft, I had to pay for them, so no way was I going to throw them away!!!
WOAS hope you got a better response from the Council...........

Well, that was a weird day. Spent all morning working on restoring all my old bridlework .. oil, oil, polish, polish, .. sitting at the table listening to music while the fingers do the toiling. Then, this afternoon, ran around like a blue thingied wotsit, vacuuming, getting the WM on, putting dry laundry away, a bit more vacuuming, cleared the latest pile of ironing ... and then collapsed in a chair for twenty minutes. Have just finished dinner, where I made h/m potato wedges to go with chicken in breadcrumbs (DS) and lasagne (me). They were scrumptious! DH had been so skeptical about my proposed recipe for them, that I was too nervous of trying them when he was involved in the meal. However, as he is still convinced he's going to throw up at any minute (very convenient way of getting out of doing anything, I call it!), he excluded himself from tonight's mealtime. (Still managed to "force down" a cheese and pickle sarnie, though!
). That gave me the green light to try the wedges - and I'm very pleased I did. So is DH, who sneaked downstairs to the kitchen and stole a big handful of wedges - so either he's secretly starving, or they were as nice as I thought. :rotfl:
Mossy : my mobile memory says its very cosy where it is and thinks being tucked behind an ear would be far too dangerous for any self-respecting list.
Wishingonastar : you're very right to consult the CAB for advice. Don't let one stroppy wotsit put you off standing up for yourself. Its very possible that if you were to ring back, you'd get somebody else who isn't having a hormonal and who would be a lot more agreeable. I've had that happen so many times, I can't remember. Chin up, lass - take control and give 'em what for.
VickyA : sorry to hear about your Dad - you must all be very worried. I'll include him on my list of folks to whom I send good healing vibes, each night.
Awww, Freyaluck, big hugs go out to you. I know just how frustrating it can be, to have a capable bloke sitting around doing nothing - or even worse, creating problems where previously there were none.
Math : your trouser troubles have absolutely made my day!! :rotfl:  I can just imagine the chagrin of the Mathlett to be asked whether you were his bro. Well go you! If I were you, I'd keep the jeans and add a skateboard, next time. :rotfl:
Oh, Moggins! You haven't been asking for strength with which to cope, have you? If so, I'd start asking for peace and tranquillity, sharpish! Hope DS is okay and was able to recognise the kid so that he can be tracked down.
Oh, what a shame Kiwichick! I guess it was asking a lot, really, to be cool, calm and collected enough for a driving test, considering what you're having to deal with at the moment. Awww, big hugs. Its difficult enough at the best of times. Ah well - at least you tried. Plenty of people would have bailed out, so good on you for going through with it. Its all experience and won't be wasted in the long run.
Right then, I'd better go and attend to the dishes. Have a good night, all.:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -

If the police don't arrive tonight take photos yourself. And when they do make sure they get a thourouugh (sp) statement and don't try to lead you up the garden path.
MY lil bro in law was a victem of happy slapping a few months back, where they beat you to a pulp while recording it on a mobile, he had his jaw nose and wrist fractured in the process, MY mil is now in the process of getting compensation off the police, cos they took a quick look and said you'll live, when he should have been taken to hospital, turns out the police officer who looked him over just thought he was drunk, as he was swaying around, never thought it could be to the fact that he was seriously injured
ONce again huge hugs
