DH has just got off the phone to them, knowing this area though it will take them a week to arrive.

Give them 2 hours and ring back... if DS has injuries they will need to take photographs so they can not leave it too long...

Fair or not it's the people that ring and ring that get seen first, not the people who let them arrive in their own time.

    My thoughts are with you and yours. x x x x x x

Moggins, How dreadful there is nothing worse that seeing one of your bearcubs hurt. Certainly badger the police, I know this sort of violence is almost accepted as part of life by todays standards but it is not acceptable or right, you and your son deserve better. I know all the mogginses will pull together, be strong and get through this but my thoughts and prayers are with you anyway. Luv MATH x

:grouphug: to you and ds MOGGINS. Do you know the student responsible? I assume it was a student if it happened at school. Report it to the head and badger those police until the take action.

Well, as expected I failed the driving again.
Have no time topost now as am trying to clean the house ready to leave tomorrow. Willbe backlater tonight though.

    hiya everyone

    (((hugs))) to moggins and family.

(((hugs))) to kiwi too :) I'm here for when ya need to scream/moan at someone :D

Had a quick flick through the thread, but like MATH - real life has been taking over this week  Had to take mum to the hospital for a weekly appt today - a 50 mile round trip by the time I'd finished cos she lives in the opposite direction to the hospital :( I've done a bit of clearing up and made a chilli for tea - then the kids all had meatballs and I'm not hungry yet

I need to sort the recycling out in a moment and put the WM on. BM will need putting on overnight, but other than that have no definate plans. Will watch the last of 'Hotel Babylon' tonight and try and get to sleep early cos DS1 had me awake by 12.30 am and frequently after that..... He's under threat of a slow disembowelling if he does it tonight!! I'm just so tired ATM - isn't it great being a mum :D:D

Right - off for a surf and must visit the savings/pensions boards to see if what was discussed last night is the best thing for us

Hope everyone is OK, ((hugs)) to those who need them and I may get back on track here in the next coupla days :)

   is how I felt reading about what happened to your son Moggins. You have already been advised to pester the police, Math et al is so right to make absolutely certain this is taken seriously.

WOAS I do hope you set the council straight, even if you owe them money they have no right to bully you. Good Luck and don't lose sleep over it.

freyaluck, it would be so lovely if your dp got on and did things but I am sure you are a pretty strong person and will cope anyway. Personally I am hopeless at the moving thing but seem to have managed somehow each time. Just hold the thought that you will make it into the new place before long and it will soon all be over.

PP That idea for the roast dinners just solved a problem for me. When DS plays rugby on a Sunday I have to stay behind if we are having a roast in order to cook it. Thanks to your idea, I will be able to cook it on Saturday and reheat it on Sunday :T especially that tip for putting the roasties in the deep-fryer. Thank you :D

((((((Hugs))))) to all those having a difficult time.

Not much OS for me today. Made lunch out of various fridge bits which was good. I am clearing and washing down one shelf a day plus all the crockery on my kitchen dresser. It gets very cluttered with everything from change, stamps, receipts and the odd milk tooth :o Grim I know!
Had two nice long phone chats with faraway friends so not much time on MSE today. Jeans washed and ready to go on the rack overnight. A suetcrust beef pie will be made from a beef stew from the freezer for tonight. I might find it hard to put the trans fats out of my mind though now. However, we rarely eat food containing them, maybe I will try the grated butter idea instead.
Well, better get on with it now. I also see I must update my signature. Take care all and have a good night.
